It was extremely good crime drama except final 2 episodes. Their i think writer switched off their brain and did a story round off. Every scene in those 2 episodes has either logical or story or time line or some other irregularities. Some to point. 1. Senior officer telling team 2 to kill their colleagues. 2 profiler teaching teens where as by time-line he himself should be in college. 3 team leader unable to shot criminal on shoulder when he has remote switch not Deadman switch of a bomb. 4 profiler leaving clues for team one then blocking them with no palpable reason. It may because i am biased by my culture, but almost every episode has a scene where it would be considered as sexual harassment or office power abuse.
Maybe because i am seeing in certain light but i couldn't accept any male characters behaviour towards females.
Also, always wondering why females characters taking males characters sh*t.
I somewhat enjoyed this drama but can not give anything more than 3 start.

Bad Storyline and screen play compared to Part 1
Part 2 episodes writing is really bad.Characters and their choice are not matching at all.
How ML became lord of North Abyss , when he is Merman clan when North Abyss is of Fox class?. Why no one was objecting to this decision?
When ML has the military intelligence to counter immortal master's plan but couldn't see through FL deception?
Also pacing is really slow. Watched in 4x speed.
Flash back and Founder of Flower Valley's story line is choppy at it's best.
Numerous errors in her story line and continuity.

Story beginning was good. But how could they call MF & FL as main character.
ML is a psychopath.
FL has no character value, no brain, no thought process.
I liked most of the support characters and acting.
Just so you know i watched final 6 episodes in 8x speed, Couldn't bring myself to spend too much time on this.
Finally after 8 months i have completed this drama.

Though great acting lacking in story drive.
I find this Drama fight sequence and reason for them are ridiculous. For example Hero team members always fight to disable the opponent where as villein team fight to kill..why??? Would like to give 8* but ended up with 3*
Would like to give 8* for overall story that writers build in this Drama.They build a world with 4 kingdoms which has proper origin and characters with right personality.
Story is written will in which each characters playing off each other is done extremely well.
The cast and their acting is excellent. Maybe some can be better overall performance of the cast is above average.
Music score gives right amount of emotional impact on scenes.
But will give 3*.
Not sure how one person can conquer 4 kingdoms without even known by other kingdom leaders.
Sure there are some probability if one or two leaders are dump, but given knowledge and intelligence of the leaders it shouldn't be possible.
Northern Emperor's intelligence comes and goes episode by episode.
Chen Empire is not legible in story.
Martial skill of FL is coming and goes not sure why.
One human body can handle how many poison? FL been poisoned 6 times in two years’ span, all of them are fatal ones.
Never understood why Empress had to kill Lady Yun. Why did she kill FL's family? How did she become empress? How did she survive the fire and poisoning?
Why and how did she plan everything 20 years ahead? was she prophet to know every person to be born and their capabilities who may become significant officers in all 4 kingdoms to include in her plan?
Some might argue she had multiple contingencies but all her plans are rigid without margin of error even her failed plots.
Why did not memory poison work on her (she regained her memory almost immediately)?
Rong Qi has as much intelligence as fish, not sure why even bother trying to save man Er' and follow his mother’s order knowing bother are not mutual.
Other than this there are lot of small inconsistency all over the story, people disappear and reappear at random plots.
Characters skill changes from episode to episode.
So my score is 3/10 for this Drama

Good Crime Drama, But not for Binge Watch
Well written on mystery, but their are still some disjoint from one lead to another lead as in why it shown as all the villains are trying to kill Syet Beal, any child would do as per script.Missed writing/directing on parenting. Child was left alone for unnecessary reason at random times.
Hacking Computer/Phone and CCTV is not done properly (CCTV can not be hacked remotely, being Closed circuit and all).
Timeline does not match at many scenes. People seems to travel distance in few seconds.
Their are quite few stupidities in the script as well, like rather then driving away from thugs to try fighting 15 of them single handily when you have important witness to save. Not using cellphone when they should and using it when they should not.
It seems Father cares about his carrier than his wife and child. It may seem like his decision or base on their protection but it is not.
Criminal threatening father without any evidence!!!(episode by episode it would work, but on binge watch thread and timeline does not match)
Why are they handing out all the evidence volunteer to the criminals even the once they don't know abut?

Slow pacing and unrealistic Characters
For my taste this series pacing is slow.Dropped twice once on EP 4 and second time on EP18.
Second couple are one of the saving grave
Their is nothing much of character development for any support roles.
Unrealistic characters. Could not able to connect with any main characters. We are supposed to hate SML but i could not. And do we have these kind of step family in this world, also even if they exist anyone would break their connection once they move out of their circle, that makes FL stupid and unrealistic.

I might go Insane if i finish this series
Dropped @ EP5 Not sure if writers are stupid or viewers. I understand FL has not much exp in metro city world but still why would she give full access to all her money. Also does Korea has no good people?? everyone around FL cheating or taking advantage of her ( except detective and SML). why??Also why SML parents so useless and stupid??
And events are repetitive. ML buys things with FL money (don't know why she gives all her money to him) and FL scolds for like 2 seconds then forgives him. SML tries to be nice every 20 Mins. All the around FL tries to uses her or cheat hear as if all the people in Korea are like that. Till EP 5 this is the scenario and i don't want to repeat myself.

It was supposed to be fun and comedic historic drama.I was really enjoying it but at episode 6 the scene where they play soccer and subsequent scenes neither logical nor fun or rational.
I just couldn't surpass that nagging how come a man is ok with getting hit for someone else fault in public in front of empress especially when he is 21st century male in female body. That somehow irritates me unconditionally.
