I am still left at the episode where he gives her the origami and walks away. The drama had soooooo much potential from that moment onwards. I feel like they suddenly changed the writer or something because there was no way I enjoyed it so much until episode 5 or 6 and then disliked the rest so bad

It's not that deep. I'm not a die-hard fan of CLOY so nearness and farness if subjective to what you feel, not me. Just lke with books, people compare the author's previous work with the current one so I base what I am feeling watching this drama to what I felt watching the writer's previous work. For me talking about either is not that deep as I don't feel much for either
I know the majority loved CLOY from the beginning just as with this drama but for me it was actually a bit different. I started like it more and more after about 1/3 of the drama and I kept liking it till the end despite the ups and downs and I feel like I will like this more from now on as well

It was actually so underwhelming. This is why I sometimes prefer it when they don't have those moments at all like Knight Flower because otherwise it looks like throwing cold water on all that burning passion to me
