Exactly, same thoughts. For me, at the moment, the worst drama i've watched. I don't even enjoy a single moment…
It's very curious why people say things where as if watching a drama is some punishment someone is being force-fed. If I don't like something, I just drop it with no drama (no pun intended lol) unless I felt so emotionally attached to that drama's initial episodes and thus rant in the comment section about how much potential it had or how the writers forgot the initial plot etc etc but...it's curious how people take so much of their precious time to hang around when they hate everything aspect of it since the beginning...

JH at least can't go anywhere because he doesn't have any other family member (as they show when they were little on the day of the mother's funeral) and DH well, as you saw, he did just that: left everything and everyone and returned because he was blackmailed. cause they are illegitimate so automatically with less power and all the step-siblings are really evil so the only way to survive and protect themselves is to seize the power. Grandpa and him have some trauma so he never even considered himself as ever possibly being the heir. He thinks his brother, being in his eyes the most deserving of every best thing in life and the only person he cares about, should obviously be the heir to the company. The dude literally lives for his brother just as a mother of an illegitimate heir in other dramas when she tries to do everything for her child to gain power
there is romance and a lot of it, just no typical physical display of affection like other dramas. Here it's unique…
there are 3 couples, FL and an inspector (+ he's a nobleman with mysterious background as you will see), Royal Chief Secretary and FL's friend/maid (not any random maid but possibly also the richest woman of the town), collegue inspector of the ML and the daughter of their boss
Curious really
