Loved the storyline of Shen Li’s parents. The actors did a great job.

I can’t get over the setting of their married home in the end. It brings full circle how they have old taste as they are old souls :) I loved the furnishings.

The costumes and sets were top notch. Ni Ni's clothes and accessories were stunning.

The ML actor did a great job at acting out the cold guy who is sweet to his lover trope.

It would've been better if there was a second season with a storyline of a reincarnated female lead meeting the male lead again so season 1 would focus on their storyline in the 19th century.

19th century male lead was more interesting than the modern one tbh.

Sisi and the Seventh Prince stole the show! I’d love a season 2 or special episodes featuring them.

One thing I liked about this series (and season) is how the skinship was pretty consistent throughout. The main leads created a loving image for sure.
