Anyone else still bothered that SDM treated the letters as literally nothing when she was obsessing over them…
That's the gripe of most fans. Why spend more than half the show making them important, only to forget them and use them only when it fits the narrative?
SDM needs to experience her first break up before she is ready to move on to a more mature relationship. NDS is…
I feel HJP's disappointment you know? I think in the end, those letters meant more to him, than it did to her.
And to find out the woman who loved the letters for 15 years, can be swayed by physical attraction, just shows how shallow this woman was to begin with. And HJP, must have felt a little deceived by it, to pine for a woman who has the EQ of a tomato.
I'd be more worried if the show makers' target group were teenagers because this group (not all of them but generally…
I think MDL has a more mature community, but other platforms like twitter for example, has a decent chunk of younger audience, that is why you see more romanticizing on those platforms.
Reponse like I love you "just because" is really HS romance type of answer.
It's like asking a college freshman why they chose accounting for their major.

To be honest, seeing how SDM has regressed to a HS teenager, do you really want HJP to end up with her?
I am having my doubts myself. I can't respect SDM as a woman, she's making the worse choices, and has pretty much given up on wanting to be a smart and independent woman.
You know, I think this drama is just not meant for an adult audience.
I think the target range for Start Up is between the ages of 14-18.
Think about it, HJP is the stuffy old principal, and SDM and NDS are the carefree teen couple, getting away with their hijinks.
And a lot of the things we adults see as toxic and unhealthy, in High School, it's seen as romantic and sweet.
Plus short memory spans, immature ML, and easily swayed FL's sounds like a HS drama to me.
I mean think about it, leaving your GF alone in an empty park to get her a rose is like super duper sweet in HS, but when your older and more mature, that is just straight up creepy and wrong.
So as far as Teen HS drama goes, start up is not bad. But for a mature drama, yeah it kinda sucks.
Out of the realistic business aspects of Start-Up I especially enjoyed seeing how software developers could hop…
Actually non-compete clause are in many many business contracts, even those not related to technology. But since this is happening in Asia, i'm sure there are more loop holes than in western countries.
Developers do get pirated though, but i'm not familiar of the loop holes big company do to achieve this though.

The younger hallyu stars, except for those you mentioned, seem to gain fame more for their looks than actual acting skills.

Since these newer dramas are 1 hour 25 minutes now. IT comes out to roughly 22 1 hour episodes. So it's actually quite lengthy already.

Start Up made me realize TKEM is actually not the worst show of 2020.
Developers do get pirated though, but i'm not familiar of the loop holes big company do to achieve this though.
I mean look at PBIO, TKEM, SU, and ROY. Big names, disappointing returns, except for PBIO.
TKEM also took 10 months to film.
