Definitely a great second episode... although I didn't get the sandwhich part - or rather, I understand through the lines, but I don't see how Thame can know how much that sandwhich means to Po in terms of a relationship, so it kinda felt off to me.
Anyway: I'm not a LYKN fan but I love William's voice and he acts amazingly, being so young! Same for Est, his expressions are great! Everything feels pretty smooth and natural.
On a sidenote: I love how the drama is showing how E V E R Y T H I N G in entertainment is staged. There are no "natural ships", no "real bestfriends forever", no "innocence". Some people can stand it, some people can't. Those who can't, probably won't last more than a project or two. Hopefully some fans can start reading through the lines and understand that for these idols WORK is WORK.
(I loved how Lovely Writer did the same with BL world, and Only Boo with contestants in the idol world... and now ThamePo with the entertainment industry!)
Uhm, ep7 was a rollercoaster as always and I loved it... but, at the same time, I'm also disappointed. Dr.Kan has been doing euthanasia because he knows people don't deserve pain and struggle in their last moments, and he's ready to go against the law for something that he believes it's right. We even had a significant flashback on his life that gave him (and his reasons) more background.
BUT THEN, he magically turns into a professional shooter and hits Boss right in the spinal cord (not even a policeman would have been so precise... especially easy, maybe, since these thai police officers don't seem that great...), AND he even kills him although he's not a terminally ill patient. I still love Kan's character but he lost trillions points with this.
Honestly I hope for a finale like History3-Trapped: he serves his time in jail, and after that he can be honest with Wasan and only then they can start a positive relation without lies.
Also I’m actually gonna be surprised if Dr. Rin turns out to be Kan’s mentor’s daughter or a relative. Yikes,…
That's the same thing I thought - she might be his first "victim" daughter, so basically both Somsak and Rin are trying from the beginning to frame him for revenge. She's so scary!
However, it's still unexplained why Dr. Kan also had four bottles of potassium. Isn't it?
Yes - they kinda overlooked it: Kan said it wasn't KCL, that all bottles look the same if you don't look at the label well and that in just a glimpse Wasan couldn't be sure of having it read right... but, the doc still rushed to throw them away before Wasan came so they probaby really were KCL...
Is it greedy of me to want more intimacy? I mean I am loving the story so far and it is heavily implied that they…
I'm greedy too! XD But, to be honest, I feel a substantial difference between here and MoD where romance was a way more meaningful part of the story. Here, I'm so invested in the main story that... I kinda don't feel the "need" of romance, although it's present and the chemistry between the two is overwhelming.
My guess: it's addressed to the nurse On.... she will probably kill the boss and then confess to Wasan ....bc…
I think the same, she is so sus! She feels like having some hidden grudge against Kan, AND she was the first to go into Urai's room when she died and the pen was found!
The whole Nurse On thing could have been better handled (police won't allow a civilian get involved in the investigation…
I think nobody in their right mind would ever go with the decision ALL of them made: send a (suspect) nurse in the house of THE most sus guy on the scene.
And anyway, how many hours took On to search that small house? Why not immediately send the drug AND the clothes photo and then run out? That was one stupid thing.
I would have kissed him, too. 😁 I think what people don't realize, and I said it after last episode. they don't…
totally agree! I love how they're both torn between the need to love, and the "need" to lie for one reason or the other... hope they can solve everything soon so their mind can be free. :D
we had just a glimpse of what their bliss could be in that split second of awakening this episode... and they were SO beautiful together!
to watch, or not to watch, that is the question: whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the pain and spoilers of a single episode, or to wait another day for thursday to come and, by watching two episodes, end them.
imo jdramas are the best when it comes to conveying emotion, specifically negative emotions. i can’t think of…
I teach japanese poetry and yes, I agree - there's such a unique way of expressing the depth and even the "need" of human struggles, that always manages to show the beauty in/through/after pain.
When I was a teen (aaaaaaaaages ago XD) I remember loving some mangas that had the same cinematic/literary combination of conveying amazingly deep moments in such a simple, heartbreaking, disarming way (like, Mitsuru Adachi's works to name just one).
I've never found this sort of acceptance anywhere else.
I wanna watch it so bad but the all comments are heartbreaking... I can't watch it but i wanna watch it, why i'm…
If you can, maybe wait for it to finish... so you can bingewatch and reach happiness after all this sadness without having to feel the angst for weeks and weeks XD
Coming of the back Peaceful Property- I just have to say Book is phenomenal. The whole scene where he gets increasingly…
Yes, both Book and Force have grown so much as actors... and Book managed to balance his acting so well in this series, he was never "over the top" as he did in some of his other comedic roles. And in that crying scene my heart broke for him too, the risk was of an exaggerated/fake result but he nailed it so well!
PS: as for their other series... I still haven't watched Enchante because the reviews are pretty mixed, but OF and aBaaB are both very nice: totally different, though, because OF is a complete mess and aBaaB is just fluff and fun XD
I have nothing negative to say about this series so far, the only thing I need to put out there is this: Am I…
Same! I even went back to see if it was my mistake because it was so clearly embroided/printed.... lol XD I thought they would sell these as merchandise honestly XD
I miss them already! <3 I know we'll see ArcArm in other scenes throughout the next 16 episodes, but I loved their characters so much... Book was cute and fun as always, but what amazes me is how Force is getting better and better with his expressions and the depth of his eyes! He speaks volumes without saying words!
Loved these 8 episodes: this drama is not a masterpiece, but it's the perfect fluffy way to prepare for a Monday morning and for a stressfull, boring, working week!
Finally made it and bingewatched... as expected, I'm loving First/Kao/Joong acting but... nope, Dunk isn't working for me. I get it, the character is acting noisy and crazy, and I appreciate the fact that it's a totally differemt role as the ones he's been given in the last centuries... BUT he feels so forced, his acting is so fragmented and rough... it just doesn't work for me.
(I'm loving the series nevertheless: Joong is great as always and I like both FadelStyle dynamic and Style's character, but... yeah, I have a terrible urge to skip all Dunk's scenes T_T)

Honestly I can't recall a series that had my heart suffering so much... maybe only litre of tears and boku no ita jikan.
And in that crying scene my heart broke for him too, the risk was of an exaggerated/fake result but he nailed it so well!
