Like if I personally was in a situation where I know the water won’t last till the backup arrive then I would take a head on fight and take as many with me as possible. So they also might decide on the same thought process in which they were eventually wiped out.

Yeah she was also trying to save her people. But it was more like forcing ML to choose between her brothers & his hatred for demons (which she didn't knew) vs herself. And weren't the 5 of them already captured as part of her plan? What could the ML do alone in the demon world?

So in that particular situation the circumstances were not identical. As ML sort of knew that this old brothers might have fallen into some plan. Had to go to the demon world to save them.

So he should have sat down knowing that his old brothers could have been in danger. And who was the one who finally saved her when she is the host of the one who killed his parents. If she could prioritize the demon world over him than why can he not take action when his old brothers/friends could have been in danger. He even left the Changxi palace for her. And he still loved her knowing that she was a demon.

Didn't his one of the brother set up the array that could reveal one's true face? So yes he was already aware of her being the cat demon.
