Few things I can’t understand with this drama…

Finally a closer to that story and the Immature person.

Yeah the big battle was anticipated but they could have had that in a different situation. Like maybe the Prime Minister guy getting exposed, aligns himself with the enemies and the leads go to the war defending the nation. No need to turn 2ML (sort of) a bad guy. As he was not set up as one, not after he started helping the FL atleast. That would have been a better ending for me.

Well I could understand him fearing the military power they both had. But they should have set that up a bit better. It would have looked better on screen.

Also I could understand an Emperor not wanting 2 generals to marry. But that should have also been planted from before. Like Chu Zhao filling his ears about this from before. Not how it happened here. In just one meeting he manipulated the emperor. So a 40 ep drama would have been perfect. Otherwise they should have removed that Chu Zhao’s evil turn and could have wrapped it at 32 eps.

After Chu Zhao’s evil turn I thought he would be killed by Xu Jing Fu’s daughter as he sort of owed her. He did sort of misled her into believing that the feelings were mutual. It would have been poetic.

Yeah the only problem that I felt was that they should have planted the seeds for Chu Zhao’s end from the beginning. Like he was practically a good guy since his arrival in Rundu. That end looked forced.

I don’t think that is the issue. The issue is the last 2-3 eps. Like they could have wrapped it at Xu Jing Fu getting punished and then his escape plan was a war. The Chu Zhao doing that cliche thing at the end seemed forced. He wasn’t the most likeable guy. But he didn’t do any bad since his arrival in Rundu. So if they wanted his evil/jealous turn to look natural than they should have planted some seeds for that in between. It looked forced in the end.

Well her revenge was sort of justified in the drama also. And in the drama it was not about revenge for her. But to get back what was hers.

And it’s not the first time writers have deviated from the novel.

65 eps would have been way too much. They could have easily wrapped it in 40 eps.

But his face was swapped. And the char itself didn’t felt that relevant to make the story cut 4 eps. Especially the final arc.

The last 2-3 eps felt rushed.

I really loved the drama but it should have been either a 32 ep drama or a 40 ep one.

Didn’t see that coming

I find it hard to see the leads committing to a relationship by the end of the show, as we’re already halfway through the season. The FL probably likes him but hasn’t realized it yet, and we’re still not sure about the ML. In the second half, they’ll likely focus more on office politics, so it will probably just end with a crush, similar to Flex X Cop.

Yeah this is again the type of show where they can make multiple seasons. And yeah they should either not start proper romance if they are not going to continue in future seasons.

Still can't believe Park Ji Hyun wont be returning in Flex X Cop S2. It is got to be some contract or fees related issues rather than schedule availability on her side.

An accidental kiss is the last thing I expect from this drama. The FL probably has some feelings for the ML which she is not aware off. And the ML may/ may not develop feelings for her. With only 6 eps remaining let’s see how it goes.

Nah I don’t think they had fishy business before. They are on a guest/ cameo roles. Amd the ML throwing the cologne and soap signifies that he has finally moved on. That was probably the last of the ex we saw. Only 6 eps are remaining so they can’t waste an entire ep on that.

Yeah that's why they introduced the reaper in today's ep

Yeah A** licking is preferred by some people but didn't the ML introduce L&S as a law firm who has maintained the no. 1 position due to their good work. While his company is currently built on the connections of the 3 managing partners.
