Watched episodes 16 - 19 over the weekend. They were enjoyable to watch, and JYY was brilliant, as expected.
I know the SML is probably a villain but I like his interactions with JYY so far. I guess he will fall for her (how could he not) even though he keeps reminding himself that he cannot indulge in emotions.
The romance between YJL and JYY is developing so cutely...love that he is not afraid to initiate skinship, and he has the most romantic lines. Plus she is also more openly caring and worrying about him. I really like this couple and how organically they portray their feelings.
Little spoiler - It was a nice touch to use the OST sung by Seven in the scene where JYY was waiting for YJL. It made it more meaningful.
I really like the FL. She may have the foresight of knowing certain events in the future but she is truly intelligent. The way she built her businesses and the network of spies, the way she can read people and signs, predict their intentions, and also know when to use reason versus force.
She had such good advice for Wu Shan! And I like Grand Secretariat Wu, he truly cares for his grandson.
MZY is portraying the FL so well!
How convenient - Song Mo has two cute guards, matched against Dou Zhao's two capable bodyguards! :D
No certain events can't be avoided and happen anyways but with a little different twist. Obviously this is true…
I hope they get together much earlier than they did in their first lives...Maybe another twist is that the FL's sister and that horrid Marquis will actually get together properly this time round

That's true - I think you're right, he will likely get a redemption arc, and decide to kill himself and take down the evil father/daughter duo with hm.
Perhaps the drop of blood that became a flower pattern on the FL’s neck is the reason why she remembered everything…
Yeah I think the book helps the FL tracks the future events and understand what might be coming but I think the drop of the ML's blood is what connects the FL to him.
Yeah I just commented on that - there is another show, a Korean where the leas cannot avoid their fates unless they transfer it to someone else. In this one, I am wondering if they can improve the situation but still cannot avoid the final outcome...so like ML's uncle still died but he was not branded a traitor and his familiy was spared...maybe
Wow, Wu Shao's got a pretty nice physique! I really like him but I guess he's not even featured enough to be considered the 2ML. His gift was cute and the couplet was lovely. Oh well...I just hope that the evil stepmother does not get her way.
That Wei Ting Yu guy is trouble from the beginning but Dou Ming isn't that bad (yet). Too bad her mother is such a witch!
End of ep 7 makes me wonder if certain events in the past just cannot be avoided, the leads can try to avert them but even if they can improve the situation, something similar will still happen to them. Perhaps the Novel Readers can spoil this for me...

The show certainly introduced a twist by having the same actor play love rivals for the FL ;D
