That's a good point! I enjoy the comment section very much except when it is overrun by fan wars. So, in a way, it is good that more KDramas are aired once or twice a week.
I usually don't watch daily/weekend/family dramas because they are so "makjang" to the point that I get so infuriated with the characters. So I am not patient enough to watch so many episodes of those characters who annoy me - hehe! However, I do like 'makjang' in general so if you would like to recommend any, please feel free.
I have not watched Adamas yet because they said that the ending was open and definitely needed a season 2. I hope that you enjoyed it though.
Up to episode 4, and so far, it's entertaining but not compelling enough to pay for the advanced viewing (TVOD) episode. Perhaps later, when the story picks up more.
Seven is her usual bubbly self and plays the FL character well, but I have to admit the story became more interesting with the ML and 2FL (Lu LingLong). 2ML is handsome but boring, like the token love interest not destined to be with the FL because of their status differences. I like the FL's mother - she seems to be what the FL will be once she gains some maturity, wisdom, and humility. The brother is cute but kind of useless, more like an enabler for the FL.
I liked how intelligent and witty the leads are, but did they really have to dumb down the rest of the characters? I mean, there is a group of dye-house owners, but only the FL is smart enough to come up with plans and schemes. Even when they executed their plans, the men needed the FL to connect the dots for them, and explained their own contributions to the plan.
I've learned to give the comment section some time to settle when it comes to Seven's dramas, as the early discussions are usually dominated by fan wars. Hopefully, by the time we reach episode 6 or 7, we can shift the focus to meaningful conversations that evaluate the drama on its own merits.

For this one, I prefer all eight episodes at once since it's a short drama anyway. The pacing was great, and with the underlying tension throughout the show, I was eager to binge and get to the ending sooner rather than later.
Not many shows are dropped with their episodes all at once, so I am used to the slower pace of weekly episodes. Most of them are fine like that, but there are some like the currently airing "When the Phone Rings" which I wish would drop more frequently since each episode ends with a cliffhanger :D
Wow, they packed a lot in ep 1 and used all of it to set the story up for the FL's next phase of her life. So far, so good, although I found my mind wandering, and I started multi-tasking a couple of times, so it is not as engaging as other dramas. I will have to watch more episodes to decide if this is worth watching.

She will loosen a bit later and there are smiles to come. However, until the last episode, she is always on the edge for good reasons. So you will see her tenseness throughout the show.

I hope so too! She's always looked good. I have read about other actors who started off with rounder faces and gradually slimmed down to "camera ready". However SHJ was completely fine from the beginning.
I've heard that some people lose weight after heartbreak until they move on, maybe they wanted to show that...
That is a possibility I guess, although they could have made it a little more obvious if that was the intention. She did seem to eat well during the eating scenes :D
He said she's his weakness and he doesn't want his parents to hurt her for their benefits. He's probably waiting…
Right, but it's been 3 years, and he could be nicer :D Maybe not show all his love but some gentleness would be appreciated. I guess he is taking it to the extreme to make sure that the presidential election is over before striking the nail!
The childhood trope is overused, but I love it in this show. I wonder if the ML puts on this cold façade to protect the FL but I still don't have a good reason why. Is it because he does not want her to feel obligated to return his feelings.
Enjoyable and bingeable show for me. Watched it all in one sitting and the pacing felt fine to me. The slow-burn romance and progression between the leads was great to watch and I liked how the FL helped the ML’s character development. The best part though was watching the 2FL unravel even more than her usual unhinged self and learned her lesson. The ending for the villain was unexpected but also good. Great acting by most of the actors and I was impressed by Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin. SHJ looked gaunt, not sure if it was deliberate for this role but I wish her well.
Great to see the ML revealing more because he is losing control of the situation. Not great to see that another crazy greedy toxic mother is behind the trauma of a lead character! This show is so good! Can’t Netflix drop all the episodes like it did for the Trunk??
I enjoyed the scenes between the grandmother and Min Ju. Two people who cares a lot about Yongju. I also liked the way they changed up the life-saving trope by showing unexpected consequences.
