I think they are interesting characters. One was a di-nue, legit daughter of the family and she ended up a side…
I agree that they were interesting characters but now CSJ is disappointing me more. Her thirst for revenge and desire for Cui's revival is clouding her common sense and she is dragging ZW down with her. He's a smart guy but I guess not villainous enough to execute their plans well. What I don't get is if ZW wants to get his father's approval so much, he should know that keeping CSJ around and doing what she wants, especially after what she told him about her feelings, is probably not the best idea. Yeah, their journey will not end well, and to be honest, I feel worse for ZW than CSJ.
Pretty much you knew where he stood when CSJ was insulted by his mother and he didn't stand up for her. Only good…
Yeah, but if that is the case, why was he so eager to please her and reassure her that he would kill YZJ for her? I suppose ultimately if he truly had to sacrifice her, he would do it. With some hesitation perhaps but if it meant his own future in the Zheng family, he would,
I think it was shown from their first on screen encounter that he loves her in his weird way, otherwise no way…
I did get the impression that he had a soft spot for her, but at the same time, his many actions point to him just using her because she was in a position to be used. That's why I am not following why he was enabling her so much.
Oh, he isn't in love. He is obsessed with her for sure bcoz of 'legitimate eldest daughter' thing. I think he…
Obsession does make more sense and it does point to why he's enabling her so much. However in his eagerness to please his father, I am surprised that he still continues to follow down the same path of stupidity with her. Like the Zhenlang pavilion auction is not going to please his father at all. Also, I find it odd that he is not doing anything about his mother at all. Probably felt like it is better she is out of the picture completely.
Fantastic story - engaging from start to end. The ending turned out to be more romantic than I expected. It did leave more to the imagination than I wanted but overall I am satisfied. Make sure you watch the ending credit scenes to the end especially if you want to see them (spoiler below)
Why is this Zheng Wu letting CSJ run the show? Did I miss something like the guy is already blindly in love that he’s willing to go along with her stupidity???
Ep 11 was impactful, relating back to the stigma of single mothers and how difficult it must have been during those times. So glad that the ML found what he was looking for. Mr. Choi is definitely my favorite- providing awesome comic relief but also stepped up during the poignant moments.
I’ll wait until the day after tomorrow. I need more than one episode. But at least after she finds out about…
Beheading is too easy for them. They need to be sent to a slave camp somewhere for hard labor. Then again, we don’t want them coming back for revenge. So yeah , let’s kill them all.
It is not about believing in her / them, it is more about him not willing to bet with the life of his beloved...…
I would give my beloved the choice but of course try to dissuade him. I most certainly would not pretend to go along with his decision and then drug him to abandon him. Most times the future you imagine for someone else may not be what they want.

I think there are two opposing camps of opinions about YZJ’s choice. We might as well agree to disagree. I’m all about letting DW making her own choices. Like she said, hating him hurts more than hating the bandits.
I think she is strong enough to stand on her ownIts about time for her to realize that.
I think so too. The show should have kept her character consistently strong like how she was in the beginning. Maybe the show wanted someone to contrast against DW when it comes to making choices
I’m thinking there is no redemption arc for Cui Shi Qiu, but then we saw the spoilers. Maybe she will just plainly give up when she realizes that her revenge caused her the one bit of happiness she could have had.
