I think DW being who she is, will be rational and matured enough to forgive and work with him against the Zhengs. But I don’t think she will open her heart again to him that easily, nor do I want her to. He needs to earn that trust back.

With the stress level rising for Su Mu Zhe, I appreciate the comic relief provided in ep 24 by the new couple. The new guy is cute but his styling, ahem, a bit like Tarzan.😁 Looks like YZJ is looking out for SMZ and KJ is still their shipper but I’m glad that she is cold towards them. I want him to work for her love! Next two episodes will be angsty. Will SMZ lose more people that are important to her? Confirmed at least one 😭 but I hope the other will survive. This show is killing off characters way too easily…
Excellent movie - the cinematography, the effects, the acting, romantic cliches done well. All the men were attractive, especially the ML of course. His style was amazing! What I loved most though was the FL’s discovery of herself and how she turned out to be so powerful. It was so fast-paced but the romance was believable and engaging. I hope there is a second season for the drama version and we get to see the two leads again!
Eps 22 & 23 - That’s my girl! Showing everyone how it’s done and getting the upper hand…then my heart broke for her again as she reminisced. I don’t like the angsty parts but they certainly showcase the actors’ talents! ZLS is so good with her expressions! More angst coming up based on the previews 😢

So she was repaying him out of gratitude? Wow, for her to do that, she must be really broken since it seemed so out of character compared to her usual defiant self.
Ep 22 - The scene with everyone from the Astronomy Bureau running in to save the day was more hilarious than heroic to me :D The background music reminds me of Stephen Chow's style movies...

But that's what I don't understand. The Zheng guy was not forcing her or showing any expectation of her succumbing to him yet. It's like she made the decision on her own, thinking that she had no other choice. I thought after she saw DW during the rain scene, and saying that DW finally saw YZJ's true colors, she would collaborate with DW. I was expecting a "recovery" arc from her. So I was really surprised to see her make that choice without any pressure from anyone
Most surprising thing about ep 21 for me is Cui Shi Jiu’s actions. I’m not sure about that Zheng guy - right now he’s definitely morally very grey. Yet, I’m excited to see how DW is going to work with him based on the previews. I still have a soft spot for YZJ but I want DW to succeed despite him going against her! I want ZJR to come soon too, create some jealousy stress for YZJ and DW needs more friendly faces around her!
We need to add a romance tag to this show because the show is doing well showing the progression between the ML and FL. Despite not being the main focus, there was enough to make me believe how and why the ML fell for the FL and why it made sense for her to respond.
