I like Kwanruetai the most too and then Laorchan because I like stories about Naga. I am not impressed wth Jaipisut but maybe it will get better.

Yes I am! I think you're right - they are definitely faster with the currently airing ones. I am also watching Remember but I stopped at ep 12 and waiting for it to completely finish first. I already watched the Korean version so I know the ending so I am going to draw it out a bit. I hope they change the ending though as a nice surprise.

I haven't started Disparity but it is on my list. How's Watsana Rak? I am a little annoyed with Devaphrom Jaipisut so I am watching the older versions (stories of their parents)

Exactly - even after that, she is still the one taking the initiative and acting clingy. I just cannot deal with this bad script. At least we will have another breakthrough in ep 19. To appease my anger at how they ruined the FL character, I want her to revert to her assassin mode and turn colder towards the ML. Enough with this whiny childish act. Maybe she will still love him but can we have a more dignified FuXiao please?! At least the Princess did give her some good advice.

Ah ok, that's also an even better punishment for the princess but I kind of feel bad for SYR since he was forced into it by choosing himself and his mother/sister over XFF/Jiang Li. So I prefer him to at least ultimately decide his own fate and end it all. Thank you for spoiling :)

I wonder if the crazy couple - SYR and Princess will end up in a murder suicide. I would love to see him telling that he has had enough of her and then kill her. After which he will then kill himself because he is driven to madness.

Up to ep 5 now. The subbing is taking time. Such a typical lakorn with
the stereotypical damaged ML, and a FL coerced into being with him for the lamest reasons. Cannot forget the usual villains and the clingy SFL who refuses to accept reality. And she is not going to be the only female chasing after the ML.
That said, I am enjoying the show so far. It looks like it will be a slow burn romance and with the wait for the subs, it will be very slow indeed :D

What a waste of another episode! Even when there’s progress between the two, the FL remains whiny and clingy. Why is she the one always making the moves? Is this the show’s version of a strong woman?? Or do they think that they need to dumb down this character all the way to contrast against how bad ass she is later. So annoying!

Episodes 10 & 11 - chef's kiss! The way they weaved Jiang Li's flashbacks and influence throughout the competition and the Qin playing - was not expecting the extra effects but it's great! Plus the comic relief was good, though a little exaggerated with Rui Rui :D

Between Xiao Heng, Ye Shi Jie and Shen Yu Rong, the visuals are certainly engaging - hehe!

She guilt-tripped him because apparently it was her who indirectly helped him get the throne, due to her being taken hostage in the past.

See… The moment the FL decides that she is not going to wait for the ML, he caves in. She should have stopped being so clingy a while ago

I hope so. If there is no more backstory to her other than the tidbit she dropped about her past to guilt trip the emperor, then I want the ultimate villain to be someone else.

So true! My eyes kept going between her and the FL when they were together in scenes. She has the aura of a FL

Yeah, she's rather one dimensional for a villain. Just plain tripping on her power. Some actors can pull it off but for this one, it seems more like a caricature

Gotta say - Joe Chen is killing it as a villain. I am so used to watching her play the good FL roles that I am still surprised by how good she emotes the scheming character in this one

Looks like there will be at least one breakthrough tomorrow (ep 18) that will make people less annoyed with the show. I think I will wait until tomorrow FF through most of ep 17 with the whole shenanigan with the Princess and then finally get to a hopefully better part of the show.
