That's the part that I don't get. Like the elders did not learn from the anguish that they themselves have gone through. I am waiting for more episodes to air so that I can quickly get through all the nonsense and hopefully see the story coming together that makes more sense.

I just hope that Yaya grows up more during the time ;D

This show has become like a comfort zone for me, that I don't want extra complications - hehe. The main couple has enough complications without her involved. But I suspect you're right - she will likely end up that way. I just hope that she is a good supporting character who will sacrifice for the ML.

It reminds me of the KDrama show Lovely Runner that just ended. The ultimate plot was about how even though the memories are gone, the heart still remembers

Catching up on ep 19 - poor DFYC cannot even leave without TSHH trying to kill all his hopes. 😭 I know her intentions but still...
Ah, why must iQiyi torture us with the new airing calendar? This show has become a comfort watch for me, daily dose of entertainment. I get what some people are saying about the plot not moving fast enough but for me, it is an enjoyable watch, a journey of unfulfilled, self sacrificing love until hopefully there is a happy ending at the end.

Yeah the FC thing was predictable which was too bad since we don't need another potential troublemaker between the main couple.

Aiyeesh, now a love triangle. I just hope the show doesn't spend too much on that. One episode of the brother is already too annoying and the FL is becoming irritating with her bratty ways.
I want to see more of the couple time.

I’m glad that they started cooperating this early in the show. The cat and mouse game is fun to watch but I like seeing them work together

Wasn’t expecting 4 episodes to drop but that’s great!
I like this Lord Gu, the head of Zhishen Department. He backs the ML up when necessary and provides comic relief as well.

Ok, now that everyone knows, I’m impatient for 1) for the FL to remember her amazing skills
2) the romance to blossom more… it don’t look like it’s going to progress based on the previews 🥲

Love the couple pairing and the first 2 episodes were entertaining enough to draw me in. The fight scenes were pretty good. Hope it continues…

She's the 2nd deputy mainly because of her power. Rong rong is the 3rd deputy but I think TSHH made a mistake in giving them those roles for the reasons you outlined.

I am still hoping that she will become wiser, more mature as her relationship with Lai progresses. Side note; I also like the actress. She was good in the Blue Whisper.

I thought she was interesting at first but since I haven't seen any character development for her, I found her more annoying over time. She needs to grow not only IQ but also EQ. Her lack of awareness can be improved.

Ah so that's why. He's left alive (by the show) for that reason. Ah, that annoys me. So SJ continues to be the ultimate villain. I guess Guoguo will be with her too. Such a sneak! Yaya annoyed me when she was warned by Lai, and she was too narrow-minded and stubborn to heed his warning.
