Yeah - the show tried to inject some humor into it. For example the dad remarking about the beer cans piling up and others thinking that the family is a bunch of alcoholics. I don’t find it funny at all.

It is sad that they are showcasing a bad aspect of their culture without even some sort of warning message. The shows could at least do some sort of PSA out of it.
One thing I really hate about kdramas is all the drinking. It’s pretty pathetic how the 3 sisters and now especially Sam Dal just drinks until she is so hung over. What a horrible example for her niece who rightfully looks disgusted each time?! The poor little girl even has to take care of them.

Watched up to ep 24 and all I want is to see FY bitch-slap that stupid Hong Lady and the Peacock clan. For me it is the satisfaction of seeing FY take down these obnoxious females. I don’t even care about GJ at this point - he can grovel at FY’s feet forever. I can even understand Qing Lin’s motivation but that Hong Lady is just self righteously stupid and that Hua Shu is just delusional and jealous about her own status. Once HS is down, then her ridiculous father will go down with her.
Kind of annoyed at ep 28. The show made the good guys a bit dumb and too noble. They know the dangers but still fell for the bad schemes. Also, you have guns, guys! You don’t always have to do hand combat all the time.
