That’s the part I don’t like. Her lack of attempt to defend herself

She seems to be obsessed with work so it would be good for her to take a break. But by running away, she’s not even trying to defend herself.
You could be right though, by removing herself from the city, she might be able to gather herself and the evidence to take down her assistant.

That’s true. I can see her career plummeting at first but in real life, most people would at least defend themselves and sue for libel especially when they are not in the wrong. With her resources, she can at least try to hit back at her assistant.
Maybe the show would reveal more but for now, it’s a little frustrating to see her running away

Seeing the preview for ep 2, looks like they are still going to make the FL look miserable. I guess we will continue to feel frustrated 😁

So far an ok start. I don’t like that the show made the FL’s situation so helpless. If she was as strong as portrayed, she should have fought back harder for her life’s work and reputation.
I hope that assistant gets her retribution very soon!

Yeeesh, I should have waited for ep 12 to air first. Ep 11 was so satisfying until the villains reared their ugly heads again. I forgot that it was makjang and the preview doesn’t help lol

Wow, I sacrificed sleep to binge watch all 14 episodes and I have no regrets! Such an interesting story, with a great cast. Love Allen Fang’s character lol. The bromance and romance add so much flavor and the comedy is on point! OST is great, the action and fight scenes are awesome…I could go on and on!
I started because of Liu Yu Ning but I am crushing on Cecilia Liu now. No wonder she’s one of the 4 Dans! Her FL character is one of the best that I’ve seen for a while!
Now I’m going to give up more sleep time to rate each episode since this show is totally worth it!

Yes, I’m enjoying that very much! It’s true makjang and i like watching how the good guys totally beat down the villains. The ML is sexy hot and has great chemistry with the FL
