Pretty light compared to other shows of similar theme and I like it! It’s funny with visually appealing leads. The FL is a little abrasive but not unlikable. ML is cute and fell surprising quick for the FL. I thought he was supposed to be the strong silent type that took time warming up. Anyway, it’s entertaining so far!

Oh dear I haven’t seen that part yet where Drago killed her in the past love. I thought he was trying to save her when she fell off the cliff. But there was also the scene when she got shot with an arrow in the back so maybe that’s when she got killed. I’m waiting for ep 20 to load but you’re right, it will be such a rush to end everything in the last 6 episodes.

The leads acted so well in ep 17, especially Miles. His facial expressions were great during the moment of realizations. He’s just lovely to look at too 😍
Seeing more of the past lives now, I actually don’t mind if FL ends up with the SML. I like Drago and I think he’s a good fit for her. Eps 18 & 19 were draggy - all the repeated confrontations between the good and bad guys are getting boring.
Can’t believe it’s close to ending but after ep 21, somehow i feel that there should have been more development by now. Side note: Love the matching outfits between the different couples and couples to be. The stylist really did well!
Can someone tell me if it's similar to Bride of Naga or different? I'm debating on whether or not watching this.
Not really. Other than a Naga is featured and there are reference to past lives connecting the main characters, the story is very different. This is more action packed based on the law enforcement people trying to catch a group of bad guys who are primarily drug smugglers. There is also a subplot about treasure hunting but the focus so far is not too much on it.
I also like his character, probably because I'm nostalgic for Return of the Condor Heroes student-teacher vibes.…

To be honest, I think he will go down being obsessive, maybe sacrificing himself to protect Ruyi. He’s being portrayed as a grey character and I don’t expect him to get redemption. I hope that I’m wrong though.
I seldom watch short length series because I prefer more plot development but I wanted to give this a try because the story sounded interesting and different. First 4 episodes were entertaining and I like the FL character. I hope she continues to triumph over her enemies!
Finally, some proper communication in eps 15 and 16 but why is it still so imbalanced? Tang Yu is as candid as usual but Tang Xin won't even admit that she's jealous...I am not asking her to accept him readily but at least stop being so thorny and closed off with him. She better have some development soon or this show is really becoming too draggy and then I would want the ML to move on.
