Actually, now that you said it, I was reflecting on that pause that XS had when XZY asked him whether for the moment, Aneda was not going to bring their staff in....after which (not shown to us viewers), he told XZY that he bought the shares.
But then in the car, before she said that he was the major shareholder and investor of Teng Yue, she also asked if he was really going to move Teng Yue to the new factory site, which Aneda was not even a part of. So it was inconsistent in that sense...like why would she ask that if she knew what he did?

Yeah, it is only because Gao Yi was JH's childhood crush, that I had a temporary thought that it would be nice to come full circle and have them be together. In the end, JH has no hate towards him and even accepted that his betrayal was understandable. He has a lot to offer including material and professional support so....

Ep 35 & 36 - the renewal of JH and YJ, and the regret of of XS and XZY...
JH decided to give up on Teng Yue not only because she wanted to save the jobs of all the people there but because she realized that her dad's legacy may not be as good and pure as she believed. Her dad was not the God she thought in the end. I am so glad that she rebounded well and is now focused on Cloud Footwear!
Yes, YJ finally had an epiphany and realized that he had never been part of XZY's world. So happy that he drew the line and even chose JH over XZY when he decided to stop managing the online store of Teng Yue when JH left.
XZY now having regrets and trying to protect Teng Yue for Jiang Hu but her change of direction seemed a little abrupt to me. Is it because of what YJ told her? That he actually never understood her at all?
XS is now trying to redeem himself...managing the operations of Teng Yue himself, and preventing Aneda from taking over with their own staff. He's not even letting them move to a factory site that belongs to Aneda. I am not sure how long he can keep that up, but at least JH seems to be aware of it when she heard about it from Song Jia Li.

I had a slight fantasy moment that JH and Gao Yi would end up together now that everything was cleared up and they had reconciled. But that is just a momentary wish...lol
One of the few lakorns that have short episodes! Caught up to ep 8 and now I’m invested in the story and the romance.
The lighting is a little soap opera like and the sound doesn’t seem to be calibrated well…feels like a cheaper production. Still I am enjoying the story line and watching Mik and Louis - such eye candy 😂 Preaw is lovely to watch too!
I haven’t quite decided if I prefer the FL with the ML or the SML.
The romantic side in me has already died for this show,I was the person who's praying so hard for XS & JH to get…
Hahaha - I too have gone through some unsatisfactory xianxia endings 😁 From the smile after a time skip to one of leads being a plant/animal/object with the potential of being reborn/resurrected/transformed….all leaving it up to the viewers imagination 😂
