if you watch the oldest version you'll able to understand the storyline, and although they have longest full episodes…
Hello, I went to the Bugaboo site but could not find the 2001 version. Oh well...do you remember if the characters Drago and Phailin were also in the original version? Thank you.
She has a hunch that SS has a man in her life but who is he i guess she doesn't know
Shan Shan definitely fails at being a relationship advisor and the problem is for someone who avoids commitment like it is the plague, I don't know why Shu Yi always listened to her knowing that her friend does not share the same ideals about relationships. I can understand if Shu Yi was just confiding and venting to Shan Shan but to go against her own better judgment and instincts and follow her advice....that blows my mind!

Yeah, I had the same suspicion because she gives such terrible advice, many times self-destructive (for Shu Yi) and her lack of honesty makes me think she is not that great of a friend.
Yeah the dichotomy in her character really shocks me. How can some read people so well for work but be so awful…
Yes, I reluctantly agree...lol. I am not surprised that Bailu took on this role. The FL character is a smart, sassy and successful reporter who is just terrible at personal relationships - it is an interesting character and the show would have been fine if they didn't take so long to drag out this miscommunication trope...
The only reason why Shan Shan is even able to be in a happy relationship is because Guan Ji is the smartest and most willing to put it all out there... Does Shu Yi know that her best friend is now with Guan Ji or is SS also hiding things from her?
She blocked him in preview and it looks like SML lied about the tree incident to spin the narrative on his side.
Well, they're definitely doing their best. I don't mind the ML as much since I watched knowing that it is the typical overbearing CEO trope but the FL is handling things really badly all and mostly because of her silly-ass friend.
I don't care what happens in the last 7 episodes. I just want Bailu and Dylan in another drama that is actually well-written and with a FL who has a consistent level of EQ and does not listen to her friend so much. Plus a ML who can put aside his pride and do listen to his friend and niece.
For a sharp, discerning reporter who can read people, Shu Yi is incredibly foolish regarding Shi Yan.
Each episode is gripping and ep 12 is no different. All the double-crossing and reveals, and the cliffhanger at the end....this show helps to get my adrenaline pumping at the start of my day!
I’m going to be happy about ep 29. They are not quite there yet but at least the leads openly rejected others and acknowledge that they have each other in their hearts.
Shi Yan’s face when Shu Yi jumped into his arms…heart melting
I need Shu Yi to grovel now. Be honest and open and tell the man you have fallen for him.
Just discover this. Didn’t know the Imperial Coroner CO will do a modern drama. Is it good so far? Watch first…
So far it’s been great - fast paced, action packed and suspenseful. Think fight scenes, guns and bombs, car chases, internal scheming, plotting and betrayal. We know who the bad guys are but we don’t know what will happen next. Wang Zi Qi is excellent as the ML. Quite different from his other characters but he’s really doing well. Not much romance. I’m actually not expecting any except maybe some slight indication of interest.
I tuned in every week to watch how YJ and SDG and his family especially the queen Mother 🙇♀️ smack down their enemies. In eps 7 & 8 - So satisfying to see the defeat on Jung Wook’s face when SDG took away all his aces and the desperation on Yoo Ra’s face. If only ep 8 did not end with Lee Jung Hye’s smug look.
