The show keeps psyching us out…I knew that XS and JH won’t meet the first couple of times but hoping that they would. I was also hoping that JH would find out what XS has been doing for Teng Yue. I guess it will have to wait for the last episodes.

I still don’t get XZY’s transition to wanting to protect Teng Yue for JH. Felt too sudden…
I’m glad that she now knows the truth…lol they really made YJ looked like an action hero 😂. Now she’s turned things around but still doing it in her prideful way instead of just openly talking to him. I don’t like it.

Finally JH stopped wearing those oversized athletic wear…although the new clothing like for the Cloud factory looks pretty cool.

So now what will XS do…I actually want him to somehow give Teng Yue back to JH and coolly walk away.

One more day…I remain hopeful for a HE. At this point I don’t care anymore about who’s deserving or not (talking about you XZY). I want everyone to be with the one they love.

I’m just worried that it will be a short-lived HE with XW’s health 😭

Yeah, I get why she did what she did but I was annoyed with her in the last two episodes. I felt better after today’s episodes 😁

I don’t think it was a rejection - she’s seen how bad the snow can trigger his illness and she was really trying to protect him.

I think it is that she is starting to trust him now but still trying to get over what she experienced in her past. After all, she even acknowledged that he had always been good to her and maybe she should give in a bit. That was after his latest threat to kill her.

His little temper tantrums make me laugh now. Even JXN is taking them in stride…I thought he scared her thoroughly but she even softened towards him after that 🤣

Superb acting by all in eps 23 & 24!

I’m so team XW that I did nothing but eye rolls during the scenes of ZZ and JXN except the one of the past. The background song was lovely though!

I do feel bad for ZZ though now that he’s fallen for her. Ultimately he is truly a good noble guy.

I like that ZZ and XW are indirectly working together, even if the directions they take are different.

Somehow I felt that there was progress on JXN’s treatment towards XW. She’s seeing that he’s always been good to her and despite his super scary yelling at her, she was still willing to give in…a little…she also cared about his well-being when it was snowing. It may not have pleased him but it was for his own good.

The romance I’m rooting for is now between Fang Yin and Lu Xian.

I really hope that the Empress Dowager gets her retribution! That woman is so power-hungry!

I just found out about it and binged all 6 episodes. So far so good! The production is interesting. It feels like a low budget but not cheaply made and the scenes feel choppy but in an experimental way.
Regardless, the plot is interesting!

Why isn't this show getting more attention? I would think after Imperial Coroner, people would be interested in this pairing again. Maybe because there is no romance?
