Actually, that subplot is quite weird because GQS supposedly accidentally killed the whole Zhong family when he tried to cover up his heinous deed. But when Anle and LMX were discussing, they implied that the Marquis of Zhongyi had the whole family killed because of their connection with Zhong Hai.

Agree! I am so happy that the revenge part is going get more serious. I love our Minxi Gege - even though he is jealous, he is so cool about it and always putting Anle first.

I actually don't know if she was super jealous because of Hanye or she was seriously annoyed with DC'E ruining her image and tarnishing her Di family pride.

That's a great point! What the show lacks in poor cgi scenes is made up by actual excellent performances performed by talented artists!

Actually, Anle in ep 17 reminds me the most of Li Chang Ge

It was DCE who, (oops!), fell and my outer layer slipped off, exposing myself....lol

I don't understand though how after all that careful upbringing, DCE didn't even know that it was her own (fake) father's death anniversary, or the special skill of the Di family.

I am actually quite pleased that Anle has decided to move on and focus on her revenge, going back to being herself. Ah, the number of eye rolls she gave DCE. Love love her sword dance and in her words, "imposing aura"!

Finally, Hanye becomes suspicious but now, Anle is going to keep her distance. I cannot wait to see how Hanye is going to turn this around! It's his turn to be all flirty ;D
