I don't know much at all about the actress, YCY but I do think that her acting is the weakest among the cast. I don't think it is cyber-bullying if one comments about how good or bad an actor is. A decent and fair review should include an assessment of the cast's acting skills. Yes, there will be room for improvement but it doesn't mean one cannot talk about the current skill level and talent. If the actor is professional, they will take an assessment of their acting skills as constructive feedback. Yes, sometimes it could be haters commenting unfairly but if an actor gets the same type of feedback from multiple sources, it is a sign that maybe that actor needs more training.
I avoid commenting on physical looks but when an actor overdoes it with a certain feature or style, it should be acceptable to comment about it. Same thing with the makeup, hairstyles and outfit. Styling is an important aspect of a visual work, and for this character, unfortunately I think the make up artist and hairstylist did not do a great job.
As for the character Wen Rou, it's fair game for anyone to comment on whether and why they like or dislike the character.

I am still trying to figure out Fang Yingkan - he engineered the release of Guan Qi so that GQ can kill Fu Zhong Shu and Lei Sun. That means he's not on their side. Rewatched ep 16 - if this show has a tragic ending, I rather watch WXS carry off Xiao Yao in his arms than WR. Then when he watched her leave 😢 That’s a much better and interesting pairing. With Xiao Yao’s conflicted background, they could have worked in a more engaging side romance story.
He is referring to Gu Shenyan - the adoptive father, not GQF’s biological father, Minister Xiao
Yeah it’s a little odd. I think he must know but he expects GQF to go along with the scheming since he never acknowledged Minister Xiao as his father and in fact seems to detest him and obviously blames him for abandoning his mother
Episode 3 is mostly building the story out with with more background into the main players. A little slow but still very interesting - nothing is just black or white
