I feel sad for the FL, but I feel even sadder for the ML. Even if his brother tried to protect him, he still abandoned him in the end. He could have tried to make amends when they were older, but for whatever reason, he didn’t. That was wrong and now the ML will never get closure. That’s honestly heartbreaking.
I completely understand his stance. He isn’t obligated to have any kind of relationship with them nor take care of the baby. The fact that he even attended the funeral and stayed as a mourner was already generous, imo.
Excited to see how they’ll end up living together to take care of Woo Joo. That little baby is sooo cute!
I’ll definitely keep watching and can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode :D
This drama is sooooo good! It's been a while that I've been so glued to a historical Kdrama. It's so rare to see such a green flag ML in a historical Kdrama. I really, really love the ML here.
tbh I think the body swap is quite unnecessary cus it's very entertaining even without it and I'd actually prefer it without the fantasy arc, but well, still really good drama! I'm glad I gave it a try. It's actually getting better ep by ep and there was genuinely not a boring scene so far.
So much negativity in the comments. I actually liked the latest two episodes :D This drama and "To my beloved thief" are the currently airing Kdramas I actually look forward to the most. Maybe I'm weird, but who cares XD
But I guess I won't tune into comment section for a while. All the negativity ruining my happy vibes 😂
I think I've never seen Gulnezer in a drama as a lead role before, but I absolutely love her in this one! She's perfect as Shan Bao! Are there any other dramas of hers worth watching?
I really can't figure out any of the characters. Nothing and no one seems as it is. Everyone schemes. Everything is so unpredictable in this drama. The writing is really intriguing, keeping you on edge the whole time.
𝐈𝐃𝐂 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐲..BUT fans who get genuinely…
Totally agree. I am a passionate fan myself, but I never understood that intense obsession some people have over the artists they like. Whenever dating news came out, I was not upset because they were seeing someone. I felt sad because something so normal and human could put them in such a difficult situation, even maybe costing their career and fame.
It still annoys me that they call it a dating "scandal", as if it were on the same level as an actual crime. I just cannot understand this nonsense. Loving someone is never ever a bad thing in this world.
they r living in the same house and maybe he thinks he is older
True, but u don't automatically speak informal then. I was also surprised that Ra Ik and Chung Jae were so casual with each other and Ra Ik is also speaking informally to him. I can't even remember when they were introduced to each other lol
Seems like all the scenes of the beginning of them living together were off-screen haha
Why is he speaking informally (banmal) to her? She’s still using formal speech (jondaemal) with him. Isn’t it a bit rude and weird to speak casually with someone you barely know, especially your lawyer? 😅
I'm stuck at ep. 4… hmm, maybe it’s not my cup of tea. It all feels like something I’ve seen a dozen times already. Pretty generic Xianxia plot, tropes and characters... But I enjoy the demon-world setting. I usually love this kind of world-built. CGI and cinematography are also pretty good.
Not sure yet if I’ll continue… I do like the cast though, so maybe I’ll just let it marinate a bit and give it another try later. Sometimes you’re just in the mood for clichés and sometimes you aren’t :D
It’s been a while since I watched this drama, but as far as I remember there aren’t any actual couples. A kiss scene doesn’t automatically mean anything. Let’s just say certain characters had their reasons to kiss lol There’s definitely something going on in a few cases, but it never turns into something real.
So if you’re hoping to see confirmed couples or real romance, you won’t find that here. But like I said… the chemistry between Jenna and Jae Hyuk was absolutely on fire 🔥
As a romance fan, I'd recommend it either way. The story was pretty good and the acting was also amazing! :) And chemistry better than in romance ones :D
last scene and wedding card was too much.its not even necessary... out of nowhere
yeah totally... didn't contribute to anything and was a bit random? Firstly I thought she invited him to some lyric event of hers. I would've liked that more, bcs wasn't this whole story about achieving dreams and believing in oneself?
Is it just me or the script kind of... cringe and stupid at times? o.o
not just you... while I appreciate the hot kissing scenes in ep.16, almost none of the scenes had any storyline. They just jumped from one random scene to another. Definitely the weirdest editing and script writing I've seen lately. This is definitely not a drama one would watch for the script or the dialouges. This is wattpad through and through lol
My opinion after watching 8 eps… don’t jump on me pls 😅 I’m neither a fan nor a hater of any of the cast. Idk but something just feels off in this drama. The story and characters come across as very one-dimensional and give me really strong Wattpad vibes. The dialogues feel quite flat as well.
The editing, or maybe the scene transitions, are also a bit odd at times. It’s hard to explain, but overall it feels very 2010s drama-like, with over-the-top drama and action scenes that are hard to take seriously, plus some rather unrealistic character writing. Maybe my expectations were simply too high.
That said… the leads are drop-dead gorgeous and hot 😍🔥 The cinematography is also good. So I’ll probably keep watching for the eye candy, just not for the story or depth 😅

Well, but it's not shown in the drama, so the development is non-existent. I can only form an opinion of what I can see in the drama.
