I don't like LTG behavior either, but am I the only one feeling Ruyi is unnecessarily cruel and cold to him? He mourned and missed her sincerely. Having several memorial sites with fresh food, flowers etc. everywhere he is stationed for war.
She felt disappointed towards him because he did not do the same for the Empress, but even the 2nd prince was "forbidden" by the Emperor to do so, so why is she expecting it from LTG? I would cut him some slack on that one. He is not the one who betrayed the Empress, but it felt like she took it out on him.
I mean Ruyi said herself how tragic it is, that Scarlet Guards will be completely forgotten once they die, like they never existed. But here is one person who kept her alive in his memories and through memorial services, even if in a kinda excessive way.
He is indeed obsessive, but I don't think her cruel behavior towards him is helping either 😅 So I don't really get why she said, that it's better for him, if she is cruel to him. How is it better?
I actually do feel bad for him, because there was not one friendly encounter/exchange between them since they met, even tho he tried several times to warm up with her. She obviously cares for him, but doesn't show it in front of him.
I also think it's not "romantic" feelings he has for her, even if he thinks so. I mean he was 16/17 when she "died". He worships and idolizes her. However delusional he might be. I really hope NYZ can knock some sense into him... 😂 I would love LTG to join the squad soon on friendly terms.
Unpopular opinion, but LTG's behaviour is a typical behaviour of some MLs in dramas.... But in those dramas it's "accepted" and even "romantic", because well, they are ML lol

Oh man... did they really had to go so far with LTG? I love this drama, but his arc is kinda the only flaw imo. LTG is an interesting character and could've been a great companion as well, but they turned him into an obsessive freak. The dynamic between him and the squad could've been great if developed. And I would've liked it if he just turned out to love his master, just like Ruyi loves her empress. He could've been like Ying and Yuan Lu to our leads.

I especially love to come here and read all of the comments ❤️ If all episodes are released... then everyone will just talk about the ending and everything is kinda finished/done... No one mentioning a small moment they loved in one of the episodes, because a lot of episodes aired in one go.

If the assassin-themed story has the potential to end with a sad ending, the main character dies or their love…
I feel it's inevitable that some of them will die, but I hope they don't kill everyone off haha 😂 Give the leads at least a HE... and if not, then I hope the ending is at least satisfying, so that I can rewatch in the future :D
I really have to applause the writers for great storytelling and writing such a bunch of likable and distinctive characters! Even tho I have loved quite many dramas, I know for sure that this drama has the most likable characters I've seen in quite a while.
Most of the time when there are a lot of characters in a drama, there will always be some which I don't like or find annoying, but here... no, I just love everyone! Protagonists and Antagonists. Be it leads or supports. Everyone has such distinctive and interesting personalities.
I've especially grew attached to our delegation squad. I love dramas with such a companionship/brother/sisterhood! And this is especially well-made!
I fear of what the second half of this drama will have in stock for us, because I know I can't bear any of their deaths.
Do you think LTG would "decrease" his craziness if Ruyi would acknowledge him? I have the feeling he wouldn't dare to act like that if he knows she is indeed his master. Would he start to be more respectful or even becomes crazier, what do u think?

While rewatching the episodes I noticed that LYN sometimes makes a movement with his mouth which looks like he is chewing on gum, especially when he smiles or laughs... It's kinda cute and endearing 😊
Liu Yu Ning is perfect for this role! I've seen him in several dramas now and I really love his acting! He's definitely ML material and I'm happy he's one in here. And his eyes are so beautiful! I think I've never seen such feminine-looking eyes on a guy, while still looking masculine and handsome hahaha 😂
