What Yi Chan and Cheong ah have is a slooooow burn( I put many O's to make a point 😂As for the two Euns it's…
I know, I love the sloooooow burn, but I still with for more scenes ❤️ The preview for tomorrow looks good tho. Hope they don't squeeze their scenes again in a time span of 5 minutes in the last 10 minutes of the ep 😂

I didn't need her to be the driven force, but as she's listed as a main as well, I just wished she would have more screen time or at least equal.

Well, that's too sad. I find her story to be one of the most interesting and sympathy with her a lot.

The small bread crumbs we get from Yi Chan and Cheong Ah is frustrating and just sad now T-T
Already ep 9 and another episode goes by with less than 5 minutes screen time of them. Cheong Ah in general has almost no screen-time. She feels more like a support in comparison to the other three leads.
I’m putting all my hope on the remaining episodes.

I really didn’t do myself a favor loving the parents’ story so much more than the kids. But is it too much to wish for at least equal amount of screen time between both couples?

Main couple really rushed it in this episode. There goes my wishful thinking of a natural development between those two 😅

I didn't want to come as offensive, so I'm sorry for that. But your comment just sounded like that, so I was harsher than necessary.

I mean it's good that you liked this drama and found aspects which were special and unique to you, but for me it was just that: average.

Coming from a creative standpoint I can understand your view. But plot and characters are more important to me. Even tho I do work in a creative field myself. But maybe because that's exactly why the visuals were not as engaging to me. Because I see stuff and work like that all the time. Doesn't mean, that it's not good, but it's not special nor unique for me. In Asian drama-sphere it maybe is. But still plot and characters are not. In my opinion :)

So given your comment, what I said was correct then. Nothing new or unique in terms of the plot.

And why do people always come with the "age card" if there is a not fully positive critic about a drama? I will never understand. Why invalidate a younger person's opinion, taste or feelings? And I'm way over teenage age fyi. Not that it's any important to my opinion of this drama.

btw I didn't watch the trailer. I knew the actors (not a fan of both tho) and just roughly about the plot and came in blind as well. So there was nothing I greatly expected beforehand. It was nice enough to pass the time.

tbh I'm just watching this for the main couple and the villain. Everything else bores me lol But the main couple is hella cute 😊

I enjoyed this drama overall. Nothing too heavy on the mood. It was nice to binge-watch and kill some time. But I wouldn’t watch it again.

It’s the same repertoire we always get when an idol and a „commoner“ is involved. They meet, fall in love, be happy for a bit, idol-life gets in the way, they break up for either’s sake and meet again a few years later.
Everything unfolded just like expected. Nothing new or unique about it.

The main leads' characters were also pretty common for idol/commoner drama. A seemingly arrogant idol with a painful past and a kind, sensitive counterpart.

It’s good enough if you are bored & have nothing else to watch. Also the actors are pretty. That’s about it :)

I'm curious what kind of changes they made for the remake. Because I think none of the Korean actors so far are similar to the original cast or give off the same vibes. But I'm still excited and looking forward to it 😊

Go Ahead is a beautiful drama and the first Chinese drama that I really loved even tho I couldn't get into Chinese dramas for a long time. Now I absolutely love those slice of life/romance/family dramas of Chinese origin. It successfully made me into a Chinese drama lover :D

If someone didn't want the Chinese Original yet. Highly recommended!! ❤️

How is it so far? I can't wait until it's over so I can start watching :D

It was one of my favorite Mangas 10 years ago. Even tho I can't really remember a lot anymore, I know that I loved it.

Does anyone know when they want to broadcast the second season? It just says 2024. I'm even thinking of waiting until S2 is out as well 😂

Is it biased to have an opinion? I don't think so. I don't hate Eun Yu, but I just don't feel her and Eun Gyeol as a pairing so far. So what about it is talking trash about her?

People should stop being so triggered if one feels different than someone else. It's not hating or being biased. It's called having a different opinion or different feelings towards a character 😅

I love Eun Gyeol and don't mind him being the centre and having a love line as well, but as of now... I just don't see or feel it with Eun Yu. I just wish for a better approach between those two. Maybe we will see it in the next episodes.

I would prefer to see more of his scenes with Yi Chan or Cheong Ah. But well, still looking forward to next episodes. I love everything else about this drama tho :D

Sorry, but I think there is still no reason to ship Eun Gyeol and Eun Yu.
I’m kinda turned off by the fact that the only reason they start to get attracted to each other is because of appearance. The small „romantic“ moments they have so far are always triggered by appearance.
Therefore their development just kinda feels forced and superficial to me. I know appearance is also an important part of falling in love, but it just seems forced here. Because all they do is quarrel, fight and they didn’t have one normal conversation so far.

I also just don’t like the way Eun Yu acts towards Eun Gyeol. I mean he’s also not kind to her, but she’s just on another level of immature and rude. Splashing him with ketchup, belittling his feelings ( like I hated how she reacted towards him thinking he was gay and made fun of him. Even tho it’s not true, she was still just insensitive imo) and now even tripping him and making him fall down. He could’ve easily gotten hurt.
I’m not sure if the writers trying to force her to be a comedic relief character with those interactions, but it just doesn’t suit her and makes her not so likable. I hope the writers will find a way for a natural approach between those two. As of now it’s just feels forced.

So far I just like Yi Chan and Cheong Ah as a romantic ship. I just don't feel Eun Gyeol and Eun Yu... but I guess they will have even more screen time than the parents... T-T

Finally mom and son scenes! We’ve waited so long and they didn’t disappoint. I loved their interactions so much! ❤️Heartwarming but heartbreaking at the same time.

Eun Gyeol must have missed his mom so much and to see in what kind of horrible environment she grew up, must have been really heart breaking for him. Because he just knows her as a cheerful person T-T

Same! She takes too much screen time imo and that I don't particular like her personality isn't helping either. I want more of Ha family interactions.

I'm on ep 7 and had to stop, just to come here because I'm in awe because of the phenomenal acting of Im Sung Jae who's playing Jeong Bae!!
The scene with him and Gi Chul arguing and Gi Chul kicking him out. Both of their acting is just amazing! You can literally feel the hurt and betrayal both of them feel towards each other. The trembling of their mouth edges and eyes filled with rage and betrayal. Just excellent!!!!!!

I know all of them are the evil guys, but I can't help but feel pity for them. Jeong Bae is an ass, but gosh! The acting made me feel bad for him. Also because we know that he is right. He's suspicious of Seung Ho because he has great intuitions and is questioning everything.

Joon Mo is doing a great job splitting them apart and destroying the gang from inside... But I can't help but feel bad for the betrayal Gi Chul will feel, if he finds out that he was a cop all along and Jeong Bae was right >_>

Seems like Cheong Ah didn't learn any sign language properly :( I really hope he's gonna teach her so that she's not so lonely anymore.
