imagine complaining about a happy go lucky teenager being immature and frustrating...shocker. damn you guys would…
Yeah, so u also agree that he's immature and frustrating. Just what I said 😂 So, where is the problem? I can't express my opinion?

Doesn't have anything to do with him being happy-go-lucky at all. I love Yi Chan otherwise, but this episode he was annoying.
Obsessed with a girl who rejected him several times, having no self-respect and not caring about other people's feelings.

I know he's gonna have character development, but why can't I express my frustration, if I didn't enjoy his character this time?

Imagine complaining in a comment section about the opinion of others :O

Episode 6 was kinda a let down... Too many annoying and frustrating scenes. Just the last 5 minutes were enjoyable and exciting 😅

Sorry, but I find Seol In Ah's character really annoying so far. I mean she must have her reasons to cling onto Yi Chan. That's not the problem, but I just can't with her personality. They are trying hard to present her as that cool and outgoing character, but imo she's just noisy and insensitive.
I even liked original arrogant Se Kyeong more lol I really hope they will tone her down a bit in the future episodes. Because she's a main lead.... and I want to like her scenes with Eun Gyeol.

And Yi Chan was just as annoying and frustrating in this episode. Can't wait until he matures a bit.

I thought we're finally getting Eun Gyeol x Cheong Ah scenes, but nope :( Disappointed!
And just 2 minutes for my only ship in this drama Yi Chan x Cheong Ah.
Preview looks good tho! Hope Cheong Ah finally gets more screentime..

The only thing I didn't like is how they wrote Jiang Zhan off like that. I kinda knew he would die, but the guilt…
I agree! They had a lot of episodes for a better ending. The built-up for a finale fight was there, but the fight wasn't. I would've preferred they had a big last fight with Jiang Zhan participating and him sacrificing himself, if he really had to die. His death was so meaningless... Also maybe killing Longzhi in the process.
But I guess they had to result to peaceful methods so that Chang Dong can live a longer life.

I also didn't like what happened to Gao Shen, but I wasn't that invested in his relationship with Ding Liu, so I thought it's good they got somewhat of a "happy" ending at least... Better than him dying or becoming a human snake with no memories.

But overall I enjoyed this a lot and I'm thankful at least the leads got a "proper" reunion & happy ending.

Someone recommended me this saying one of the leads has similar vibes to Xiang Liu/Fang Feng Bei of Lost You Forever. Can someone confirm if that's true? 😂 And if yes, who of the two male leads is the one?

The only thing I didn't like is how they wrote Jiang Zhan off like that. I kinda knew he would die, but the guilt suicide was poorly written imo.
They should have at least given us a reunion of him and Liu Xi with both their memories intact. I was waiting for that reunion the moment we found out about their past and how manipulated they were by Longzhi. I absolutely hated we were robbed of a reunion :(
He was a really tragic character. That was so sad. We didn't even see how Liu Xi reacted to his death. My heart broke for this pitiful character 😭

This was a really good and unique drama with excellent acting! It's the first time I saw Ni Ni in a drama and I fell hard for her. She's a phenomenal actress!! And Ye Liuxi is such a badass character! She definitely entered my top 3 of favorite female leads.

Also I'm a sucker for mature and natural romance! And this one is sooo good! It's sad that mature and communicative couples are so rare in Asian Dramas. That's why I'm even more pleased :)

I watched Bai Yu in "The Bond" and weirdly I didn't find him attractive back then, but here he is hot!! He's really handsome in here and I fell in love with his smile and soft lovely eyes. He's really rockin' that rough & "unkempt" appearance with a quite soft character 😊

Anyway this was a really really unique drama. Never seen anything similar in my 15 years of watching Asian dramas. While it felt a little bit slow and confusing for me in the beginning, the built-up of the story and characters were really well-written. Usually a lot of times Dramas start to fall flat in the later episodes, but I felt it became even better in the last 10 episodes! 😊

No dubbing is listed on Baidu, nor has the crew a dubbing director. To me, it is Tao's voice. I listen to him…
Thank you dear ❤️ It's refreshing to have a nice encounter with a fan. Had some unpleasant encounters with fans of another Chinese actor, who label you as an "anti" immediately, if u don't like a drama of his 😅

Wish u a nice week as well and happy watching :)

It sounds similar to his voice, but it still doesn't sound like his voice in Legally Romance to me 😭
Regardless... I watched a few episodes of this drama and I think it's not for me 😅 Looking forward to future projects of his tho. I really loved him in Legally Romance!

Nooooooo! It sounds like ZT got dubbed 😭😭 He had such a sexy and deep voice in Legally Romance, because it was his own. I loved his voice so much and I'm disappointed. I hate dubbing... It takes so much of that natural acting away. He was incredibly charming in Legally Romance and I know it was also partly because of his voice.

I don't know if I will get used to this...

Just came back to see how this drama is doing and seems like it was a wise decision to drop it in ep 5 😅

Looking forward to Rowoon's and Bo Ah's next drama projects :)

I also started this for Zuo Ye because I loved him as Elder Yue and I'm enjoying this so far. I don't really take this drama that serious and just go with the flow. Doesn't matter how ridiculous and low-budget it is 😂 It's kind of refreshing amidst the heavier dramas I'm watching.

I also don't mind just watching 10 or 20 minutes a day. I watch it right before I go to sleep like a bedtime story 😊

Despite all the negative comments regarding the actress, I really like her. She has a natural humorous vibe and isn't cringe at all imo, so I find her genuinely cute and endearing. I loved her in "Wait, My Youth", so maybe I just have better impression of her because of her previous drama.

Also regarding the kiss scenes. I actually find them pretty good. She's not really in love with him and sees him as her enemy, so why should she go all out? He's doing great btw. I've seen so much worse kiss scenes in Asian dramas and I'm taking everything over dead fish kiss haha 😂 It's also not often that the actress is going all out in kiss scenes. I just know a handful of Chinese actresses. But most of the time I think it's the directing which prevents the actress of kissing better. The women have to look "innocent" and "inexperienced".

So my impatient a** couldn't wait for subs and I binge-watched all remaining episodes...A few thoughts and feelings...…
As much as I loved this masterpiece... wow... it was DEPRESSING as f***... Every time I thought we got some time to breath another heartbreaking and depressing incident happened.

The last episodes kinda sucked all the happy sentiments I had for this drama. While I still think the writing, the characters, the story, the cinematography, the music and development were absolutely marvelous... this drama was a hard pill to swallow.
It was a raw melodrama of youth and life. A beautiful, but bittersweet journey. By the end of the drama I connected to all the characters deeply and that's why I was kinda down that no one actually got the "happy ending", how I would define a happy ending. Life just continued... just how Life is. With all the misfortunes, partings, new beginnings etc. You just live on...

I cried my heart out the way Qi Qi and Zhang Jun parted. They had the most beautiful development and it just broke my heart that Zhang Jun thought he is in Qi Qi's way and "broke up" for her sake. He knew he couldn't catch up to her and they will part eventually when she goes to Beijing...and he broke completely down.
The moment he gave her all the collected stones he actually wanted to give her for each year of her future birthdays... I just started bawling and couldn't stop. I knew this was the end for them 💔😭
I know Zhang Jun had his questionable moments, but I grew really fond of him. He was immature, but he loved Qi Qi, he admired her and was loyal to her with all his heart.
At least he reunited with his father in the end... that calmed my broken heart a little bit.

Tbh while I initially shipped her with both Xiao Bo and Zhang Jun... I started to love her and Zhang Jun more, because that's the only romance we saw throughout the drama. They liked each other romantically... while Xiao Bo had a one-sided crush, but never crossed the line. He was bro-zoned the whole time. Qi Qi loved Zhang Jun romantically and Xiao Bo like family or soulmate.

Xiao Bo...my poor baby... Okay, that's where I take one star off. I hated what happened to Xiao Bo! Like seriously??!! Can this poor guy get a break? I had the feeling all the misfortunes were carried on his back. He was the most kind, compassionate and supportive person in the whole drama, but got all the bad luck in the world. He deserved better!!!!! It was so unfair. I was just devastated and cried for him... He worked so hard to go to Beijing with Qi Qi 😭 I think I would've left this drama with a much better and content feeling if Qi Qi and Xiao Bo both went to Beijing together, but no they had to ruin my happy vibes :(
But even without him going to Beijing with her, it seems according to the future scenes of him, that he still achieved, what he wanted. I feel that they could have done that without him having all those misfortunes and hurdles in the past. Was it really necessary for him to go to prison? >_>

I will try to write a review when I calmed down and not heated with those feelings. I know this kind of ending is not really everyone's cup of tea and while I also say goodbye to this drama with a heavy heart and sad feelings... It was still a really well-written and beautiful drama.

I would love to see all characters as adults reuniting with each other... But I know this is just wishful thinking :')

Hi! Do they find the men and the men are charged and assumed put in prison?
Yes, they find the three men and they get sentenced to prison. According to the radio broadcast which told us the details of the trial, the criminals didn't show any remorse, hence got heavier sentence. But we don't really know how long the prison sentence actually is...

It was only possible due to Xiao Fei's courageous act of reporting them and standing up for herself, even despite her mom being against the reporting. I found that disturbing as hell how the mother acted, but sadly that was common and still is....

i just want to ask......whats the screen time between Qi Qi and Xiao bo till current episode.....and also is there…
I think MDL should put just Qi Qi as official Main Role. It's more about her and less about any romance with either Xiao Bo or Zhang Jun. I feel both the males are Support Roles. So Xiao Bo should be listed as a Support Role just like Zhang Jun imo.

She has a good amount of screen time with both Xiao Bo and Zhang Jun. But in the latest few episodes more with Zhang Jun. I feel we're getting more with Xiao Bo in the next episodes, but who knows. She has great chemistry with both tho 😊

Lol sorry, but the actor who played that gangster with the ponytail, who was holding the dad hostage in the arena was sooooo bad at acting! I was laughing when he said his two lines in the scene under the staircases 😂 It sounded like he was doing a school play Hahaha
