I would've preferred the proposal without that upbeat music... It kinda distracted me and made it less romantic. They had such a good soundtrack overall... why choose such a song for the proposal scene?

I had a serious second hand embarrassment while watching Cheng Ke letting the "teacher" out and trying to sound smart with his investing "knowledge"... He didn't know who he was talking to lol Zi Quan's comebacks were just too good the whole time. It made me love him even more.
Also Cheng Ke's humiliation reminded me kinda of Tang Ying in the first episode where she outsmarted Xu Jia Bai trying to be a wine expert haha 😂
Tang Ying and Xu Zi Quan got to be my favourite drama couple 2023 alongside Xu Hong Dou and Xie Zhi Yao of Meet Yourself.
People really shouldn’t sleep on this couple. I really miss those mature relationships. We really don't get a lot of romance dramas with mature couples. They had everything I loved in a couple. Both equally strong characters. Smart, mature and independent. Their relationship development was so good. From strangers, to friends, to having a "situationship", to finally lovers.
They had deep and interesting conversations. They were flirty, romantic, mature and a really funny and adorable couple. Individual character development was also great! Both leads were not perfect but flawed people, which I found even more compelling. Because they still had great communication and they worked on their relationship, which was a lot more relatable and enjoyable as well.
Yes I admit the business part and some side characters story wasn’t my cup of tea as well. But after a while and getting to know the colleagues and so on I even enjoyed the work part.
If you really can’t stand the business part then I tell you… skip it and just watch for the leads. It’s not the proper way to watch a series but I wouldn’t want anyone miss out on this great couple ❤️

I loved his character as well! We seldom see characters like his. I can't even remember seeing one like him lately. He was flirty, witty, funny, never pushy, straightforward and smart. And I loved how he was really dorky and acted cute when he's in a relationship.
I was actually baffled when I read comments comparing him to the redest flag ever exist Park Jae Eon of Nevertheless. Like no. They're nowhere even remotely similar.
She didn't care about the spell and disregarded Shin Yu's feelings when it just interfered with HIS love life, but it now interferes with her love life too... and suddenly she admits her fault and "cares".
It's really time she takes responsibility for her actions and have some sympathy for Shin Yu. She's finding his actions towards her annoying, but still blamed HIM for drinking her love potion and didn't apologize to him sincerely. I hope we get some serious character development in the next eps.

He has playboy vibes, yes. But he's open with it and straightforwardly even saying that he's not into commitment. He's not in a relationship so he's allowed to flirt around. FL knows that and she's also flirting with him and their push-and-pull game is consensual.
He loses interest in flirting and other girls the deeper their relationship gets. And I really love his character development. He will be a doting faithful boyfriend :)
