Why people love this becuase Lurang is an ideal guy. A total green flag. He never allowed his girl to feel that she is not enough. On the other hand whatever Lurang's shortcomings she is filling it all. A perfect drama I would say. Not too much conflicts.

Thats what I was thinking as well. The nuances cant be deciphered sometimes due to language barriers. Specially if characters are not translated.

She also met a trash guy who cheated on her and main reason why she probably had to do a surrogacy. She will never come back but love 020 will forever be in my memory.

In the novel chu zhao left but they met in rundu. If not mistaken it was the other lady who liked xiao jue who found out that they are going to rundu but heyan used her skill to block her meridian points so that she can't move or scream and alarm the whole army. I am not sure if cannibalism will even be mentioned here since it is quite controversial.

Chu zhao in the novel is actually more political and cold blooded and just want to use heyan. when they net in rundu I was fuming. Hahahah. The rundu arc is actually good though. Just that in the drama they changed the arc on how her friends got to know she is a woman.

The death of Liu buwang was just a little bit sadder in the novel specially that they focused as well in his failed love story. I shed some tears reading his arc. Loving each other isn't enough when destiny is your enemy.

They changed the initial plot but they stick to the following scenes kudos to whoever the scriptwriters are or is.
