In the novel he graduated from a prestigious university with flying colors. He is like a rich guy from harvard . Lol

Most people who nitpicks this drama are kids not in age but mind. It only takes one episode to understand and comprehend everything but some didn’t even watched it yet beforr leaving a comment. This is a mature story and not your typical high school cliche plot.

I am seeing lots of comparison between sang yan in Hidden love. Don’t you realize that what we are seeing is the version of themselves based on who tells the story? In hidden love he was a brother and a son a friend but on the POV of the sister. Now he is a guy whos in love, thriving in his business, a friend and how he sees himself. Which is a totally different version of himself. No one knows us truly aside from ourselves our future partners, bestfriends. So keep that comparison of yours and think openly and wider

you described wen yi fan so well, that's exactly what the novel is trying to convey about wen yi fan. Zhang Ruo-Nan…
I experienced so much in life that watching it is like watching myself on a mirror. I don’t have that much family problems but friendships and people taught and keep teaching me in life. Learned it the hard way. The key difference might be is I am an extroverted guy who knows how to deal with people without compromising my relationships and the ability to express myself. Relationships should make your life better not adding extra burden.

She isn’t wrong though. She just realize early that cutting off relationships to lessen your burden is essential in life. Her being aloof is a defense mechanism that she developed through her past experiences. I cant blame her at all. Instead of worrying about her personal love she choose to be alone and focus on her studies since she doesn’t have someone to rely with. Yes he is rich but relationships at a young age doesn’t have a guarantee at all. Years after she was able to stand alone she still holds that barrier that kept her going for years without relying so cmuch from others. She surrounded herself with that barrier and whoever happens to put it down will win her trust and heart

Didnt get the hate towards chai An. Lol as a business owner it is really a bad thing to open a competition just beside big establishment. Of I were the owner i would do the same. Also He may be petty but these characters are really young so they have the tendency to be childish. Marriage age in ancient China is below 18 btw. So it is rare to see mature characters. …

I noticed that there are differences on how we interpret the story probably because of mistranslation and also chinese can be vague and holds deeper meanings and often times neglected due to translation issues. You have to watchand understand the dialogues because if you missed something you will also misinterpret the story
