I am at ep 15. And i didn't understand her at all. Why she so hurry? Why she mad at him?

Idk why people hated this much?
Maybe same situation as pursuit of jade?
People keep hate it cause the popularity of the series got?
Somehow people had high standard for just some "entertainment"
But the wildest fact, this series still on the top.
I think people just hate it cause the popularity. Just because this one got famous so they must "perfect" from every side. The standard just build by the people.
For me, some series shouldn't that perfect to got famous.
Similiar plot or average acting can got famous too.
Not anyone love deep plot, detail thing, great acting etc just to watch any series.
The Light one also deserved love.
And now, many audience love this series. Thats why the rating in sk is high.
No matter how bad reviews of this. Or how people keep saying they are bad actors (you talk about IU? OMG. Bws? Did you know how people praised him on his villain role ? Or Sungjae?). I still enjoy it.

For me, everybody in this earth is racist. One day being victim, another being bully.
Example, korea feel they are being victim in usa that time, but they also bully sea in this time.
Somehow common comment become bully content. Example "you look like indian" while that person is from Europe, so that person will say "they bully me"
Same case with linghe. I watch the scene, and i never feel any insult at all.
Why? Cause in my country, most of us want to be white like chinese but always insult chinese for their narrow eyes and feel insult while other country call us "sea visual"

I've reached episode 16. I understand why you call it boring. Honestly, the boring thing in this series is the slow pace. There are too many unnecessary conversations. Even for one scene, there are so many reaction scenes from each character. One by one. But if you look at the graphic design, this series is really luxurious and good. It's just that the pace is slow, making time feel wasted. I also watched this while doing other work, so I could still follow it.
even i don't know if i'll be able to finish it, because i'm watching this in between other series.

At first i hate ml for the script which she was read. He so cruel, and the worst part when he choose his mistress instead his empress.
He was perfectly toxic ml.
So i can understand why she hate nanheng so much.
But later..... i found she just annoying. I mean, its okay you hate him, you afraid of him so why you keep insult him infront of him? Didn't you afraid of him?
Her childish attitude is okay for me, but her denial after many incident is made me hate her.
In other hand , i hate ml from the first ep. At least until ep 5? Or 6?
But later i feel pity for him. He always being exiled by his father no matter what he was done.
As the emperor i can say he is the worst.
Now i still on ep 14, the reason i still watch it cause nan heng , the comedy of his people or nan rui.
I already give up for the romance.
I just hope the emperor die as soon as posible. I can't tolerant with him at all.

At first i am not really care about him. But later i hate his character too much. Currently i am on ep 11, and i had 3 characters who i hate in this story.
3. FL , somehow her character is so incosistent
2. Her fiance, he blindly hate ml is fine to me. But the worst he never reflect himself, he never admit he was wrong or made a mistake, he just blame ml for everything.
3. The emperor. I actually skip his screentime, i can't with his injustice.

i can understand both of them, but i more feel pitiful for princess. If he not had a mistress and act it like 'pure love' , I definitely still feel sorry for him. But he got his happiness and act like that was his true love while he just leave his wife behind without any concern about her life, or her feeling.
more than that they was in love in the past. he know well how hard her life, just one person she can lean. just him. he can bring her with him and deep talk about it, instead went alone and find fun thing. he not even manage 1 but now he had 2.
the more made me hate him cause he act like "victim" , if he just ack like a jerk i maybe not hate him this much.
for princess why she act like a dull is more like what happend to her. he feel had nobody in that palace. i just hope she leave him. idc

But when i watching the 1st ep, truly i can't continue it...
This vibe is has the impression I dislike the most in crime drama. " psychology's vibe "
1st ep is more like "melodrama" than "crime" for me....
Idk how to express how i feel so bad for him....
I would prefer if the story started when he got out of prison, and then we get the flashback. But here start when he being blamed for everything.
I still tried to continue it, but i already skip too much part and just looking away from the screen, unable to bear to see the treatment he received and just hope the investigation part starts immediately rather than just showing ml's sadness...

I just found it common thing from historical series of south korea.
In mr.queen, the king also had his "birth name" i remember FL talk about it. But usually they have 2 names, 1st name start with LEE (if that was from joseon era, the royal surname is lee) 2nd their "honorific name?" Idk how to call it.
Usually their parents call them by 1st name (if they are alone or in private), while in public they are being call by their 2nd name.

Wait... prince seonyang isn't half brother of ML, right?
what i catch so far
1. ML's title is prince muyeong. His birth name is lee eun. (This was so common, like example on UTQU, queen second son's name is prince seongnam, but she call him "kang")
He is king's son. He already born when his father just a prince (younger brother of previous king)
2. Prince seonyang is step brother of ML. he was born when ML's father as a king, he is current queen's son.
3. Prince eunseong? He is son of previous king. He was the crown prince. But now, he not crown prince anymore. Maybe because the current king had another sons or because his illness.

Why king said they must wait until prince mu yeong (ML) back from his trip , to Minister of War (queen's father) because just an excuse.
obviously the king don't want make minister of war ' s grandson as the crown prince, that why he keep make an excuse.
He also can't make ML as crown prince cause ML's mother is not queen (previously he just brother of king). His's position also unstable, that why he said he jus being puppet, not real king. Cause people around him set everything up, include to appoint crown prince

I cant believe the writer did dirty to prof. Kwon. From the start mrs.min trap him as killer of his daughter and now as killer of his son. Thats was the worst part in the last eps.
Seeing she still doing well as always Made me want to Punch my phone.

Now i can understand why viewers said the last eps is the worst.
I think they Will end this like death note, but i am wrong.

As far as I know it's an easy thing. I am following kdrama and kpop too, so i knew many idols change their birth name. Example jihyo twice (her birth name is jisoo, kang daniel (his claim his birth name is hard to say so he change it) , jeongyeon twice, jihyo from running man etc.
I pretty sure public service ask the documents too, so hard for criminal use this way to hide. If they are suspect / criminal public service will report them to police instead create new name for them. But not something new when a victim or former prisoner change their name to avoid some problem. As long they are clear when they ask for it, public service will allow them to do it.
But change the name not finish with a single day. They need some time. Example in drama kim sam soon, the FL apply for a name change and it takes a lot of time and also has to go through the courts.
Its happend in my country too. If i want to change my name i must go to the courts. Easy but need a time

Until ep 10, i think that was plot hole.
But she maybe lie to eun gyeoul or eun yu. For some reason she is lie to one of them.
For eunyu's pov, i know thats was useless. If she really want to cancel her parents married then she can do something with her young father (she already saw him) so that he never goes to US. Make accident maybe?? Then both of them never meet in the past. But what she does? She hide from him. LOL even he not even know who is she.
For me, eun yu just tried to enjoying her life by searching her mother's first love. She can't back to 2023 but she also not really want to die, so she just having fun. Even she meet her mother's first love that meant nothing.
