I am stop watching shooting star when i found the clue ML's household servant is toxic fan. And that being the worst when his closed friend is the hater of him and drove him to stress.
And now the prediction of viewers for this drama slowly become true. Should i stop this too and just watch the ending? My heart really can't take that plot.

I mean about the novel's ending??? The novel already finish?

Without love triangle that will be boring. They must have some problem to be solve. So if we talk about romance, the popular case is love triangle.
If they use "parents rejection" or "illness" that will be more frustrating than just "love triangle"
Just see what happend to the main lead, they don't really have "love triangle" but "people rejection" is more frustrating and hard to watch (at least for me)

Idk, but why i feel mr. Ji just like chi yeol in romantic way??? (No matter he was the brother of death girl or not)
He being jealous cause the coffee, and how she can persuade chi yeol.
If he was the killer he must kill her in early ep (cause the misunderstanding).
Maybe this is just my own wish but i feel he love chi yeol not mean he is a killer.
I am not really mind if he really the one but chi yeol must being hurt if he really the real killer.
* i want su a is the killer. LOL.

In my eyes she look around 40 and he look around early 30. Honestly her look made me avoid to watch this at first, yeah i am judge without trying they will have lack chemistry..
But cause some of short scene, i found she was funny and heartwarming with her family so i decided to watch this and glad i am trying. I am even crying when she crying in ep 10 ( i never been like that for many years, i just crying for melodrama).
I am admit i was wrong. They have great chemistry and i think the reason why people criticize their chemistry cause they never tried it, they just assume it.
Just 1 thing i dislike about this drama, the gang of mothers. I skip all their part after they kick hae e.

But i want leave my recap, so when the part 2 airing i can recall the story without watching again.
1. The serial killer kill 3 person who relate with the villian. And send a message to the victims so they can help him to obscure investigation.
2. The victim of scam and suspect murder is died. Thas was jae hwan, a good guy. They said he kills himself but somehow this is not feel right. And the fact about the victims still got the message after his death is the clue jae hwan not the serial killer.
3. ML had a sister who died 7 years ago and the suspect murder somehow relate with fraudster han. And this one still unclear.
4. The end of part 1 show us how they kick the ML from investigation team (maybe because police kang) after he still stubborn to investigation about jae hwan even they already decide he was the one who kill victim no.2 (the politician). But then we got police kang in danger.
5. Villian's death is unclear, police kang's attitude change is unclear (cause he in victims's side in the past), ML's sister case is unclear and of course the killer's motivation
6. The victim in this series is no.1 mrs jung who died 1 month ago in her room (the secretary of the villian and ex employee of politician kim), no.2 mr.song who died in ep 1 (a con arts who eventually led him to become a con art and villian's partner), no.3 mr. Park (politician) who help the villian in the past., no.4 jae hwan (a victim and suspect murder)

I am really don't get any clue about the real killer.
Somehow i feel police kang is the killer of jae hwan, but i don't get about the dartsbor.
Somehow i feel the real killer is the killer of jae hwan that why he send the box to his mother.
But idk. I really clueless.

I have mix feeling when hae yi call FL "aunty".
Bittersweet.

That not just about the evil mothers but also their child.
He almost drop teaching the special class cause hae yi, but then the kids keep begging to him.
He also care about other kids who went to the academy cause him, he can't be egoistic and ignore all of them cause hae yi and FL.
This not just about his pride, money, or love. But also his caring for the other kids.
So i can feel how hard to him in this situation.

I skip all of their part.

At first i don't want to believe it. But after many dramas use this plot, the bully, jealousy, suicide and how young people choose to be idol, i am starting to believe that was true.
I like their dramas and kpop's song but i don't want to live in sk, i think i can't adapt at all. Even i love mathematics, but i never study for 24/7 and more that 12 hours a day.

I watched this while they were still airing. So i can't help myself to searching for the next plot or the ending.
The chinese one turn be open ending with clue of BL in modern era. The original story not like that, he (the modern guy) accept himself being a woman and live in ancient era.
Meanwhile korean ver choose to split them and let them live in their own era.
I hope in spin off they reveal chef jang is reincarnation of so young and create story about he meet cheoljong's reincarnation. But that just my imagination. LOL

You right. The queen is sooo great. But i prefer this ver of the king than the chinese ver. In that ver, he totally jerk. But in kor ver, ML is reasonable person.

They did that in chinese ver.
But korean ver choose not to use same way.
I am even searching the ending all of the ver (novel, china and korea). And love all of the ending.

Maybe people spend the rumour about FL and hae yi being "sl*t" to get the lesson.
I hate that people. I skip all part about these people.

Not really. In general we should believe hard for parents especially a mother to leave her kid like what hae yi's mother done. But i have a friend who act like that.
I have a friend who is a widow. She married in young age, and her married life only lasted a year. And she leave her daugther with her ex husband. At first i feel bad to her, but saw she doing so well i ask her, if she was fine to leave her daughter like that?? Even after her daugther got tortured by her stepmom, she just being angry to her ex but not bring her daugther with her. She told me, her ex must responsible for their child that why she still leave her with him. And she said "if i bring her with me, I can't work"
the situation is much more difficult than it seems, she hate her ex more than her love for their daughter. She even said to me, cause that child she must married in young age, like she blame her own child.
She is my friend, and i know she is a bad woman.
so it's not uncommon for a mother like Haeyi's mother to exist.
So far i know, my friend's daugther taken care of by grandma (ex mother in law) . Both of my friend and her ex already married again and have their own child.

I am pretty sure people will insult she and hae e. I hate that people. They was the reason why i am doubt to watch this one.

I was a bit suspicious when watching ep 3. but in ep 4 I'm pretty sure FL is having a mental breakdown. She just alone in hospital or car without her mother.
