There was so much potential to make the drama without involving the ex-girlfriend with her current boyfriend and…
you exactly share my concern. I don't know why you deleted your reply to my comment. But yes, why it is always ex-girlfriend messing with FL. I hate this plot the most and it seems the most selling point. I mean, they sure going to confess for each other, but then exes gonna come, and too much meddling , plotting, scheming, always makes my heart out grew from the series. I mean, I can not help but jump into screen and kill those exes, and yes there are millions creative ways to show hardships of couples and their breakup and reunion, and it doesn't have to be ex lovers or spouses. Boil your blood for 13 something episodes and in final, you get to see fast paced end. This is typical Korean plot for 70% dramas.

And no matter how intelligent you are, FL has to be dumb, introvert and always caring, I mean these attributes can be used as defense to create a strong story line and plot.

Am I the only one getting anxiety and annoyed at the same time with this wife. Like seriously, she playing mind…
What mind games? She is police officer, after 14 years of together she suddenly exposed to something life changing, as the only man (perhaps person) she loved more than herself, is someone she didn't knew at all. And despite showing anger, and blaming and throwing tantrum, she sets out to find the truth for a person she breathes for.

So tell me how she is playing games, she is the one having hard time, learning all sort of stuff, and knowing her man isn't someone ordinary and she has to help him, no matter what.

If this has unnecessary ex or female second jealousy planning and plotting shit, then it will be a serious let down and seriously I can't even watch such series, seeing female lead feeling sorry for nothing and keeping her mouth shut. Is that it? Writers please wake up, give strong tongue to female lead so she can protect what she love rather giving up.

Cha Ji Woon is one daebak character I ever saw on television. She is so damn intelligently written character... hats off to writers, for creating such a bombastic matured level character, that has all kind of emotions yet she doesn't crumble nor does she go out of line in hysteria or create fuss over truths and lies.

First: I understand for such series budget is an issues, but uncreative product placement is a big turn off in this series.
Second: Why no kisses? Is this Covid precautions? But judging from season 1, no Kisses there as well. Even their kisses on cheeks are so dud.

I've never experienced such a fast paces drama where the screenwriters don't drag out different plotlines and…
This is not unpopular opinion. After The World of The Married, I thought no drama in 2020 could surpass the excitement of waiting for a weekly episode. But man FOE, put TWOTM on second place. And yes, FOE is the best drama of 2020. And with only 2 episode aired, Alice is coming 3rd and Go Ahead, 4th.

The best Asian drama of 2020 so far:
1. Flower of Evil
2. The World of The Married
3. Alice
4. Go Ahead

Title Alice
First episode split in two so I guess that's 32 episodes?
As per new Korean broadcast rules, channels can not air 1 hour episode. As commercials and adds should be aired after 30 minutes. So they split the 1:15 episode into 35 minutes of 2 episodes per day to allow commercials and then they air 2nd episode after 5 minutes.

Yes, all Korean dramas, are 32 (or 24) episodes during broadcast, while on streaming and for international viewers, total 16 (or 12)

Bang! bang! bang! So Joo Won wasn't lying when he cried in a conference saying that Kim Hee Sun is amazing in the drama and damn he was right. She nailed the first episode with her acting. So far looking good, visual effects is also no joke. Looking for second episode!!!

is this really boring? any thoughts? I have nothing to watch :/
Ita not boring. The leads takes too much too recognize eachother and unnecessary plotting and scheming at the end of show.

You can give it a try but dont expect too much

Title Flower of Evil Spoiler
After today's episode I think It's pretty clear that Hyun Soo is slowly realizing losing Ji Won is what scares…
Yup. the kitchen scene, my god, she is heartbroken to the core. Knowing that her husband she loved more than herself, hasn't loved her for a single second in past 7 years. She is on verge of breaking. And she told him that she is sick of loving him and will breakup with him. think this is the only way she can leave him first before the truth is revealed.

Even though it is his fault for not coming clean to his wife, I don't blame him fully. She persuaded him, when he wasn't ready. She lingers on him and he gives up, hoping that being with her might lessen his daemons. This was the only effect on him of her. All other aspects of his life remained same. And his wife failed to notice (don't blame her she was head over heels with him).

Given what he has been thorough is just not a trauma, but left him paralysed from feeling anything. He wasn't healed, so how come she could cure him? It wasn't possible.

Now that he will finally receive closure to his past he will become normal. Actually he is already on its way to recovery it just one last nail in coffin.
