Wanted to put this in a comment for spoilers, but I like to believe that maybe they didn't officially show yeong…
Honestly I don't think they do cause the entire crux of the last two episodes were how he could not hold onto what mattered and whom really cared, and he tried to find the same familiarity in someone else but it was always empty. How the bangkok trip from from eyes of gyu ho felt extremely gleeful but in ep 8 in the eyes of go young was rather poignant and pessimistic. And how life doesn't go the way we expected and we still have to move on. Omg I'm still breaking down while writing this 😭😭
