The review section and the actual show is so deceptive. How is every new kdrama a masterpiece a 10/10, this one barely is a 6/10, such mediocre, predictable and cliché plot, which could've easily been an amazing political thriller with a unique cat and mouse chase between the leads, we had to witness such rubbish!

We need to pull down those fake paid ratings as well which are rating the show so high unnecessary! It's still misleading for most new watchers! People really need to downvote them or MDL has to devise new algorithm to detect fake reviews!

If that was the scenario i would've dropped spectacular shows like Reply 1988 long back. We live in a time where is an enormous and huge pool of variety content where most of the pre- occupied people like me trust reviewers and various other sources to decide what to watch and what to skip during our free time and holidays. And if such practice continues, unfortunately it's going to be a loss for all of us! Plus i never rate or judge a show until I finish it

Oh silly you living in a bubble, they absolutely pay people right from reviewers to influencers and reel and meme makers to promote a show. Haven't you seen the insane promotion of squid games?

The amount of paid and fake reviews on the page is ridiculous! The comments section and reviews is absolutely divided! MyDramaList, you need to come up with a better means of weeding out the fake and paid reviews! We absolutely cannot figure out which drama is actually good and which is just a PR stunt

South Korea is heavily backed and supported by the US in its development and even military, so american involvement was much anticipated. And most of the capitalists corporates are run by Jews! So ultimately the demise

Because it's something the same drama has directly or indirectly referenced the war-stricken countries, subtly promoting it's hidden agendas. We never had much issues with the show until the last episode

All that may be understandable but nothing warrants a 10 on this show

That definitely won't be a case with a Netflix orginal or an official distributer

Relatively milder plot with convenient climaxes, not sure which is truer to the book, but was enjoyable overall. Series is way more impactful! Though certain actions and behaviors were more natural here than the drama, but the drama is more nuanced! Well the focus here was on the friendship and more on the female character than the protagonist!
