Agree with you. After their breakup, she was so emotionless towards him. I get that she's angry which she's entitled to. However, in her time alone at least shows that she misses him or has inner turmoil. But, she went on with her daily life as if nothing happens. I guess they wanted to show a super woman who isn't affected by a broken relationship. That made her so unrelatable though.

How about Cang Xuan the Emperor of Lost You Forever played by Zhang Wanyi ? You can see him in emperor outfits there. Lol

I do feel that they were kind a bickering but do they have to ram in our throat every time that she doesn't need anyone? She's independent and strong? WE GET IT!!! We know this since the beginning during their fake marriage.

I thought his apology and confession were nice but her response to him was quite sad. Basically, she arrogantly meant I don't need you when the guy just poured his heart to her. 💔

The abuse on ML is so overdone. How much more does he has to apologize to her and her family? I don't understand why she had to hide that she cared by sneaking in secretly to see him? She has too much pride, didn't want to lose face or she wants him to continue to grovel?

LMT is so poorly written. She's so indifferent to CXZ as if he's in a one-sided romance. Her character should be in a modern drama as a woman who only focuses on her ambition with no desires to be in relationship or romance (no romance tag modern drama).

Unfortunately, I feel the same that the actress can't convey complex emotions. Both CXZ and the grandfather are really great and LMT is still the ice queen. Seriously, I've never had so much issues with a female lead character before.

At this point, it's just going to feel so forced. A love story with no love from the FL because she's self sufficient and doesn't need to have any man in her life. Though, she's willing to have a fling with a handsome man. What kind of message are they sending here? 🙄 It's like she took pity on CXZ and doing him a favor by going back to him.

It really is a pity. I was rooting for her at the start. Now her character is not that likeable. She really lost her charm. The "hidden charm" is really CXZ.

Exactly!! Her actions are so callous. I don't know what level of a strong woman they want to show but it really lost me. It's hard for me to root or feel for her. I don't feel the love from her at all. It's seem to me it's just a one-sided love for CXZ. How are they suppose to convince us that this is their love story? Where's the love?!! It makes me think that she's not worth fighting for. She doesn't deserve this kind of devotion from ML. She's too prideful and this doesn't make a good romance. I feel a bit cheated. Her character just takes me out of the romancing part.

"Seems like we're past the cold LMT bullshit and groveling CXZ" This part dragged so much. I didn't really enjoy it. Usually, I enjoy a good wooing and groveling but this didn't tug me at the emotional level because LMT's character was so cold, unemotional and disconnected. Thank goodness it's over.

I totally 100% love CXZ as a character. He's well written and fabulous acting by ZWY. 👏💖

She is a really likable character. She's smart, warm and kind. Ziyu has always been lucky to have supportive women around him. I hope he'll appreciate Xueji more.

We are very spoiled as Cdrama watchers. Yep, it's too hard to watch Korean dramas of only getting 2 episodes per week. 😣
