They’ve already re-filmed everything and it’s been submitted to the International Emmy Awards complete with Na In Woo version. It’s also been released in Korean VODs (new 1-6). Only the international VODs (Viki and Viu) are taking too long to upload.

It’s not a hallucination. Dal is really alive. Remember he asked the monk to train him on how to fake death? He used that skill but since he has not trained that long, he did not master it. That’s why he became amnesiac as side effect.

The drama actually tried to stick with history as the story is truly based on historical figures. The only major tweaking they did was the finale—Ondal being alive.

The PD thought of everyone’s well-being during these difficult times. He wanted to leave the viewers a feeling of hope instead of pain.

I actually like the ending though. :) I don’t think I can bear to be depressed after watching the supposed finale. I’m grateful that I was spared from such heartache.

I never thought I’d see the day that a very serious actor Yoo Ah In would accept a superhero role. Haha! Love you still, Hong Sik!

So many reunions! Chicago Typewriter and Reply 1988!! My top 2 favorite dramas. I’m the happiest!

Like what Sal-Jun-Hos said, they held a funeral for On Dal and the monk just sneaked in to where he was laid to rest. He took On Dal’s body (remember, he’s very strong) stealthily and brought him to the Ghost Village to wake him up.

Apart from the fact that he planned to keep On Dal’s condition a secret from everyone (he knew that GaJin will stay at the Ghost village anyway), I imagined that the monk already anticipated the side effects on On Dal as he did not complete his training yet, so he rather keep things quietly as he nurse On Dal back to health, with complete memory of his life; also while waiting for Gajin.

Not sure about Viki but Viu commented on its post before that they’ll release it soon.

It’s a bummer how Viu completely skipped eps 53-63! I had to watch from other illegal sources whose ads are horrible.

Congratulations to the team for the Brand Reputation Awards!! Kim Seonho also bagged several individual awards. Way to go!

My favorite variety show at the moment! 2d1n s4 is very heartwarming that ending my day by watching it is the best reward for the day’s work.

I hate to admit but the original format was really the best! The 4 were hilarious and the Masters were very unique and cool in their own way.

Thank you so much for sharing. Indeed, it’s very plausible that he left on his own accord because of those you cited. What made ATB/MITH fun and unique was their immersion style of learning. Too bad they changed it midway, and I feel bad that they cut a lot of his parts too. Makes me sorry for the people with quiet personality types out there who try hard to outwardly express their enjoyment but aren’t appreciated enough.
