Well my assumption is that she is dead, but the FL can’t accept this so she “talks” to her and imagines her, but she is not there. It’s just my theory, but it seems that way.

I agree with your theory, basically I’ve thought this since the moment she boards that plane and goes completely AWOL, but what solidified it for me was when the FL imagined her friend at the table during the wedding. Also might explain why the other girl in the group became so distant. Also, if it is the case, I do think she knows, but her mind conjures her up as a copping mechanism. Just my take on it.

The friend group just ignores the fact that she speaks of Yifei in the present tense. Hope we discover what happened soon.

I figured this might have been the case. The way they all grew so distant and their friend group disintegrating the way it did makes more sense.

I literally just posted this question after the wedding scene. I thought it strange that her friend was there one moment and the next she wasn’t.

Is the dancer friend alive? She kind of just pops in and disappears. I thought it was weird that at the wedding she suddenly appears at the table but then she’s no longer there after, and she hasn’t participated at all so far.

On episode 14 and parents hardly make an appearance. Her grandfather though is pretty controlling and she basically does as he asks.

The worst part though is that he warned her not to get involved with him and TOLD her why he stayed alone, yet she insisted and followed him and now proved him right. He was right since the start 🤦🏻‍♀️

Got it, I just found it a little weird how she reappeared with a completely different hanbok instead of the mourning clothing she was wearing like the first time she traveled. I guess it doesn’t really matter lol.

I’m so confused about that ending, did she actually come back? Was she a sort of ghost? I’ll never be 💯 sure.

I read comments about this and was sad it’s based on that. I hope she doesn’t here because he doesn’t deserve that, he gets so much rejection already.

Lol I don’t care for romance in this drama, I’m one that thinks it should not have been included, it’s not necessary. I’m just stating that in general, if she or her team is uncomfortable with romantic scenes, they should decline 🙂. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter, it’s just a work of fiction, nothing to be bothered over 😄.

The actress should decline projects that include romance if it makes her uncomfortable.
