It would be frustrating but as a forbidden story line in cdramas they might just do what every other “time travel” drama does. Makes it out to be a dream or a novel someone is writing. Either way, I’ve mentally prepared myself lol.

Like you said, I think what she feels towards the SML is pity, and a need to redeem him I guess. She knows he could’ve been a good person and desperately wants that outcome for him.

So given that this is practically “time travel”, I got to thinking that I hope it doesn’t end with one of them “waking up from a dream” at the end.

Keep watching, he clears the air soon.
