I completly get you it's hard to get past the poorly written script in some areas. Bright and Win are so fine but they definitely don't wanna act in BL Dramas and that's fine. I'm glad they left the BL industry since they weren't really comfortable with it in the first place. I heard from somewhere that Bright and Win joined the BL industry to get popular then leave. Idk if that's true or not but loll. I really liked this Drama when it was airing tho. I remember being so excited and eager to see the next episode. I will miss that era lowkey. This will always be a COVID nostalgia BL Drama for me tho it didn't make it to my favorites list :(
I'm glad we get to see Boston in season 2 because I wanted to understand his character more. I wanna know the reasons behind his actions and his life story the way he grew up and everything. I wish we could also see the old couples in this season too because I love them a lot but then that would mean that what was once concluded in season 1 would become messy again and I don't wanna see that happen again loll. Yes I totally agree the point of Only Friends is supposed to be about red flags hahah so GMMTV did well cause I hate red flags and hate Boston's guts loll I was so invested in every episode to see what would happen next loll. Yea I noticed that Boston seemed taken aback by Top being serious about Mew and not wanting to sleep with him anymore that upset him. Just because Boston can’t form bonds with people thus get into a serious relationship with anyone doesn’t mean he has to hinder his two friends from getting into relationships that’s so toxic of him. He’s the biggest red flag ever god I hate his character so much. It’s sad that there are guys like Boston that exist that make his character realistic :(
