EXACTLY. I didn't understand why Farm was really patient with Van when they started dating. Van was about to cheat in that one scene that Farm caught him and that woman. I wish Farm and Van had a conversation about their expectations and boundaries within their relationship. Hopefully after that conversation Farm would've walked away and found someone who deserves him cause he's so precious <3333 I also didn't understand how Farm agreed to date Van. Everyone knew about Van's playboy dating history and how he wasn't looking for anything serious. As someone like Farm who is looking for something serious and likes Van he should've seen it coming that Van was gonna cheat. People especially Van wouldn't change in a day. I feel like Farm should've seen it coming but sadly he was blinded :(

EXACTLY even by the end of it all i'm still not convinced Van has romantic feelings for Farm. He genuinely wanted someone to just take care of him and he took advantage and crossed boundaries mutiple times with Farm. Farm deserves wayyy better. I think they just wanted to conclude the drama with them together to have a happy ending but it all felt rushed. I really wanted to understand Van's character more and the reason for his dating history like his thought process and everything.

I get it the sexual assault is really triggering and i'm sorry that scene upset you a lot. Fan Xiao is such a black flag. I wish there were more episodes to show even more depth of Fan Xiao's changes to make it more believeable like you said. In the series I wish we got to know even more about Fan Xiao's thoughts. I was left a little confused after watching the series so I read the novel to understand (not agree with) Fan Xiao's thought process more. I can understand your point of view because maybe if You Shulang spent more time alone then he could've gotten over Fan Xiao completly and moved on with someone new or just learned to be content with himself. I thought it was kinda odd how quickly You Shulang accepted Fan Xiao back. I really wish we got a scene where You Shulang talked to Fan Xiao about how his actions affected him. I feel like the dialogue in the last scene was not enough.

I hear you!! If this situation was in real life if I was You Shulang I would run as far away as possible to not involve myself with a guy like Fan Xiao ever again!! Since this is a drama and not reality in my opinion it's okay they ended up together. I only came to this conclusion based on Fan Xiao's character development. I also read the novel and got more insight about Fan Xiao's character. Since Fan Xiao is dealing with trauma from his past and he grew up in a very toxic enviornment which led him to believe that everyone is fake and no one could genuinely just be kind hearted. He got curious about You Shulang and his kindness and genuinety towards others. That made Fan Xiao want to test him to see if You Shulang is genuinely kind or if he's putting on an act. He wanted to date You Shulang then dump him in the end which was his plan but since he's such a good manipulator he even manipulated himself into thinking he had no feelings for You Shulang even tho he did from the start. I feel like after You Shulang dumped him and he truly realized things won't go back to how they were. Fan Xiao genuinely turned a new leaf and changed for the better. He himself became more humble. I think the rape situation is genuinely wrong and disgusting but with that aside I wanted You Shulang and Fan Xiao to end up together cause I really liked their dynamic the best. Even when You Shulang was trying to pursue other guys it didn't feel the same as when he was with Fan Xiao. That's why I think it's a good thing they ended up together in the end because both of them want each other so bad. And Fan Xiao seemed to really repent for his wrongdoings towards You Shulang. Again this is just my opinion that's all lol

MudBook was genuinely my absolute favorite ship but Mud has some growing up to do he's so immature. Something I didn't understand is the fact that Mud had a girlfriend and everything and had no romantic interest in Book but when he finally breaks up with his girlfriend he all of a sudden is interested in Book. It just felt unnatural. Either way I wanted them to end up together so I can't complain too much lol

I was really addicted to watching this. All the characters have some sort of unresolved trauma and definetly need therapy lol. I really disliked Fan Xiao but you kind of understood him cause he's acting out of his trauma and his worldview has been distorted cause of how he was raised plus the trauma. I'm not giving him any excuses. The raping was not okay. He didn't even own up to it. I thought he would but he never said it himself like it's his own idea for bringing it up but no lol. I was really satisfied when You Shu Lang finally locked in and broke up with Fan Xiao but towards the very end when Fan Xiao and You Shu Lang saw each other after a gap I felt like they should be together cause they want each other so bad. I think Fan Xiao learned his lesson and he can't really be redeemed for his actions. But you can choose to forgive and forget ig. I am happy they ended up together at the end no matter how twisted that sounds. Now that it's done I need more. Like yes they got together in the end but I need more happy scenes.

Also was the reason that Fan Xiao started hitting on You Shu Lang cause Fan Xiao thought You Shu Lang was genuinely so nice so he couldn't fathom it and wanted to test him cause he thought his kindness was fake or something? I know this is pretty much what they said but honestly I need confirmation from someone cause I can't believe it either lmao.
