I think it's also tricky too cause the author decided to use BDSM in her novel, so it adds another layer to the relationship of Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei. I wish they had a proper conversation about boundaries. What they liked and disliked. I know Wu Suo Wei wanted to top Chi Cheng so badly lmfao. It pissed me off that Chi Cheng wasn't open to the idea. In my mind if you love a person, I think something as simple as this shouldn't be too much of an issue. It's definitely worth a conversation, but I don't think it's too hard to grant. Chi Cheng being SO OPPOSED to the idea pissed me off, in the novel. The novel didn't picture a healthy BDSM relationship sadly :(
