I’m sorry, but I genuinely can’t get past the fact that Yi Chen’s brother has this much control over him.

I know the show wants me to see their bond as touching, but at this point it just makes me uncomfortable.
I would’ve much preferred Yi Chen telling Lu Feng, “Bro, I can’t forgive you. I’m leaving and moving on with my life.”

At least that would’ve been HIS choice.
Instead, he leaves because his brother asks him to.

For once, I’d like Yi Chen to make a choice because HE wants it, not because someone else does.

Unfortunately, for me, it’s not love. Yi Chen doesn’t love Lu Feng, and not just because of the kidnapping. He didn’t love him long before that, and Lu Feng fucking knows it.

I honestly don’t think Yi Chen loves him. He has never really shown me that he does.

Taking a bullet isn’t enough to convince me, especially given the circumstances. What matters more to me are his choices, and Yi Chen keeps putting other people before Lu Feng.
I genuinely want to believe the people who see love on Yi Chen’s side, but I just can’t see it myself.

And I don’t think Lu Feng should keep trying to force a relationship with someone who doesn’t love him.

I totally agree with you. I’m sorry, but this relationship can’t work. And not just because Lu Feng needs therapy, but because Yi Chen doesn’t love him and will never choose him over his brother.
