The thing that pissed me off the most in today’s episode is that Lu Feng only gave Yi Chen one change of clothes. Like bro… you have a fucking elevator in your house but can’t spare a couple more outfits for YC? 🙄🙄🙄

I don’t want to excuse his behavior or his idea of revenge, but I think it’s important to look at it from Lu Feng’s perspective. As far as he knows, Yi Chen married someone else five years ago and never once told him that the marriage was a sham or that it was never consummated. From Lu Feng’s point of view, Yi Chen chose someone else and built a life with that person.

What Lu Feng did was clearly meant as revenge and to make Yi Chen experience some of the pain he went through. Was it petty? Sure. Was it cruel? Probably. But they aren’t together, and they haven’t been together for five years. He’s not cheating on anyone.

Whether he was actually sleeping with those men or just putting on a show to provoke Yi Chen is another discussion, but either way Lu Feng is single. If he wants to date or sleep with other people, he’s free to do so 🤷🏼‍♀️

I guess we will never know 😔

We can only hope that tomorrow one of them will think about what happened, giving us a flashback 😂

I genuinely have no idea! And to be honest, the way it played out in the episode changed the whole story. It’s like they sold us one thing with the first trailer that wasn’t even remotely close to the actual story 🤔
Plus, with all the cuts they made, you can't really tell what actually happened and what didn't, because so much is left to the imagination (like the second bathtub scene).

In your opinion, was the first bathtub scene a dream or a memory?

It really broke my heart to hear him compare himself to a living corpse over and over again. I can’t even imagine how much pain he must have been in 😭

Yeah I believe it was a marketing move as well, because I cannot find another reason to show those scenes when in the end they are not in the episodes and the whole story is toned down a lot. The trailers shows bits that fuel a certain narrative that is kinda different from what we are seeing in the episodes 🤔🤔

But let’s hope the fit them in other episodes 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah, I believe it was all an act as well. Lu Feng is such a simp for Yi Chen. He just wants to make him pay for all the pain he had to endure alone. But I’m 100% sure that if Yi Chen actually used his brain and openly admitted that he’s still in love with him, Lu Feng would drop his revenge instantly. Because that’s what he really wants to hear: that Yi Chen still loves him, that he’s sorry, and that the marriage was a complete farce
