What’s going on with Choi Woo Shik lately? He looks absolutely uninterested and dull on screen — the screen presence feels mid at best. I remember feeling the same way in his previous drama, melo movie (I think that was the highly anticipated melodrama?), but I just couldn’t connect with his character at all. It was so boring. He’s such a fine actor, but it feels like his aura is fading or just missing lately. I hope people get what I’m trying to say.

How this drama has an 8.6 rating is the real mystery. Watched 5 episodes and found it very mid — not engaging at all. Weak screenplay, poor execution, and honestly, mediocre performances by the leads. Tbh, I can't continue. Dropped.

Ending on a good note—the pacing was a little fast in the last three episodes, but not clumsy. Whatever complaints I had were largely minimized in the last five episodes. Overall, I had a very good time and a great experience.

After watching Episode 23: Why is the screenplay turning into a pathetic joke? Doesn’t the writer have a better way to shape the story? I'm not saying I'm not enjoying it or it's bad just Screenplay writer is lazy.

After watching episode 15: The performance and cinematography are fantastic. The set design and costumes are on point. The director is smart and skilled. However, I feel the screenplay is dragging quite a bit — it dives deep into certain zones, then transitions into others that aren’t as deep. As a viewer, it's not coming together cohesively. Editor needs to do better, it needs more free wings.

What I mean is, it's not consistently engaging from a storytelling perspective. The progression feels mellow, and I wish it covered a broader range of scenes involving the fnds gang, it'sa crime to not getting more deep into that. Those moments are such a treat to watch — the friendship truly flourishes on the surface. I want more of that.

Also, I need a solid reason for why he left her again — it can’t be something trivial. Let’s see how the rest of it wraps up.

I'm currently on episode 26, and I have to say—episodes 23 and 24 were absolute masterpieces in terms of storytelling, screenplay, direction, and performance. The emotional range is sky-high. The music mix was brilliant, adding so much depth to every scene.

Zheng Ye Cheng — I’ve officially become your fan. What an incredible character portrayal! He balances humor, sincerity, and sheer intensity so effortlessly. His character is both deadly and loving — a complex mix of traits that he absolutely nailed. Every shade of emotion felt real and deeply layered.

And Tan Song Yun — words honestly fall short. The range of emotions she conveys through just her eyes is mesmerizing. She brings such authenticity to her role; it’s impossible not to be moved by her performance.

I’m completely in love with this series. It’s a slow poison — it draws you in bit by bit, and before you know it, you’re fully immersed. The pace never drags; in fact, the stakes keep rising with each episode.

Interestingly, though the tone is very different, the show somehow reminds me of the Korean drama My Dearest. There’s a kind of atmospheric symmetry — an emotional pull that lingers, even if the genres don’t match.

Anyway, I’ve written a lot, but I just had to share how much I’m enjoying this. Can’t wait to watch the rest ASAP!
