I'm confused. Why are people mad that XYC "backstabbed" LX? Where did he do that?
1. Although he wanted to poach CY, he didn't do it for the sake of LX. It was TX who poached him.
2. Even if he poached CY, he did it for his own company. Remember, they established ground rules that they won't bring work home? Poaching is business, not to mix with their personal relationship.
3. There are people saying that XYC should have at least given LX a heads-up about it? Like, what??? Again, this is business. If he had given her a heads-up, do you think LX would just sit around and let Yuyi poach CY that easily?
When I saw that little fight between them, I actually did not like that LX was again mad at XYC. But, thankfully, it didn't last long and she understood him.
Anyhow, the drama is good from LX and XYC relationship point of view. After they got together, they had a healthy-ish relationship... No fights or breakups. Very healthy communication between two mature people. But as I said, healthy-ish, because it's always XYC adjusting for the sake of LX, and never LX doing it for XYC. And also, LX's parents were blaming XYC for the break up 8 years ago? And XYC just accepted it? LX also didn't explain it for him and let XYC take the blame?
Side couples are just meh. Especially Shasha and WT. I just couldn't stand watching their scenes. TX and CY was a bit better, but still meh.
Historical About a Cat Demon and Her HusbandThe story is adapted from the novel Mrs. Mei’s Daily Life of Pampering…
Interesting development on Bambi Zhu's side. Xu Kai's boss (don't like this guy) has been criticizing her recently everywhere for backing away from a second lead role from the drama he is producing. And now she is starring in one of Xu Kai's dramas as a second lead.
I agree. OFL had the most brilliant cast and their talent was wasted on a script written by what felt like a teenager.…
OFL's source material is the problem. I think the screenwriter did a good job of staying true to the original novel, and the result is what as I had expected. I read the novel (accidental love) a few years ago and thought it was shallow and average. The drama was doomed to disappoint.
I'm not sure how to rate best kisser, but Xu Kai is a very good on-screen kisser in c-dramaland. Most of his really good on-screen kisses were censored or edited badly. For ex; in the Legends, the drunk kiss near the rocks, on-screen it was badly edited that you couldn't see it. But in bts, Xu Kai and Bai Lu were basically eating each other's mouths. The same happened with Wonderland of Love & She and Her Perfect Husband kiss scenes. His only on-screen hot and steamy kisses that didn't get heavily censored or badly edited were from Falling Into Your Smile.
i always wish for a drama where Xu kai and zhao lusi are the leads ....and xu kai and bailu can't come together…
No possibility, that's the sad part. Their chemistry was literally sizzling. They also had great chemistry with other actors/actresses, but I still feel that together they are the best on-screen pair ever in c-dramaland.

What... Xu Kai actually gets the girl in the end in that movie?? I have been avoiding that movie just so I could save myself from the second lead syndrome. I guess I'll have to watch it now.
It seems the discussion thread about the fake ratings has been closed, just when I found it and wanted to reply, it was locked. I have noticed that no one reported about the completed ratings this show has. Also about that hate reviewer who was very upfront that she was a hater and wanted to downrate the drama, even using fake accounts. Can somebody report that too?
Wonderland of love has the same director as legend, but the direction and execution is so much better than the…
I've said this a few times on ABAY MDL drama page:
The problem with The Legends in last few episodes lies in the editing. A very bad editing. Normally, a director should have a full control of the editing department, but this is China we are talking about. Nothing's normal there. So, I wouldn't blame the director for what happened with The Legends. His direction kept me engaged until the very end, that is already very good on his part.

Xu Kai is going on Hello Saturday on Jan 31st with Seven Tan, and on Feb 1st with Esther Yu.
Gao Han is also going on Jan 31st, that's cool.
