See what I said. I also want to comment on those who rate 10/10, yes, but they are at least willing to watch the whole drama and might even change their review or ratings in the future. You, on the other hand, are just looking for hate.
I can't believe that one review this drama as 1/10. I doubt that he watch the episode 1 when all the he/she talk…

It is worth it for me, lol. Because I am liking this drama, I am here defending it. You just watch 1 episode (I even doubt you watched the full 1 episode tbh), and you write a review bashing the whole drama based on that, when you can actually just drop it and move on with your peaceful life. Like, it's literally 1 episode dude. Not even an hour worth, but you just needed to spread the hate and beget the same in return. Literally not worth it for you, if you ask me. But hey, if you are looking for the hate, no matter how weird it may seem for me, I say go for it. I'll just see myself out.

Episode 1 is literally just an introduction to the characters. Sometimes, it's just an epilogue. It is not the whole drama and definitely does not deserve a review that is serving for the whole drama. This drama has 36 episodes, a whole team's hard work, which includes Xu Kai and Esther Yu, and you just watch 1 episode and review it based on it? Such disservice.
I don't think there is anything wrong with two of Xu Kai's dramas airing together, especially if they are of two very different genres with their own audiences.
The last time, the only time, Xu Kai had two dramas air together, he had a modern drama and a xianxia dram air together. Both did exceptionally well. Both had their own audiences. They are also Xu Kai's highest-rated dramas on MDL (not including Yanxi). The modern drama is still trending in the top 5, 2.5 years later, on WeTV in a few SEA countries.
Personally i am not happy , that two of his drama will air at the same time. As you know there are so many charts…
I don't think they will air Wu Lei and Xu Kai dramas together. If it was different genres, then they may air them together, since every genre has its audience.
Aside from Arsenal Military Academy, there's also Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain, even Li Ni in Wonderland of Love is a bit playful.

Xu Kai and Esther Yu's characters in the drama are literally 3 years old each.
