I like the hypothesis, but unfortunately, there is actually another novel titled as You Are As Beautiful As Stars. It's not translated yet, but I liked the premise and I am very interested in reading it soon. This is the reason why I want to separate the two titles so that we don't confuse them. Here's the novel link of You Are As Beautiful As Stars (not translated): https://www.jjwxc.net/onebook.php?novelid=2636298
The Chinese name for this movie is "You Are More Beautiful Than The Stars". To me, this is very different than…
Xing in Ji Xing means Star. But it is not in the title. The title of the novel actually translates to You Are As Beautiful As Beijing. So, it can translated as As Beautiful As Beijing.
I really can't tell which one of Xu Kai's dramas will be airing first lol. On twitter, I just saw news that Xu Kai is going on a variety show with Esther Yu. This means Sword and Fairy is also coming soon.
Yes. The relatonship blossomed b/w HT and JX afterwards.
Professor Meng's niece (who's adopted), Xu Qin (aka Meng Qin, also the FL of Waiting For You In A City novel, which was adapted into Fireworks In My Heart drama starring Yang Yang), was Han Ting's blind date. Han Ting was first introduced in Waiting For You In A City novel.
Yes. The relatonship blossomed b/w HT and JX afterwards.
Han Ting did not date Zeng Di before. He and her, both started off as friends with benefits. Was there a chance where they could have dated? According to Zeng Di, yes. She admits that if she didn't take the friends with benefits things seriously and didn't have any relationships with other men when she was with Han Ting (yup, she slept around with other men when she was with Han Ting. She did nothing wrong though , as it was just a friends with benefits relationship where both of them could find other partners), then Han Ting might've considered taking their relationship further. This was what Zeng Di thinks, can't say if that's what Han Ting thinks.
There was one time where Han Ting did cut off ties with Zeng Di, it was because Han Ting had a blind date, and he wanted make a clean break before he could meet that blind date.
Your observation that FL didn't expect her Cui army getting disband isn't completely right, but it also isn't…
If the imperial family sees the Cui army as a threat, they can, at most, cut down on their strength. Despite their disobedience or the threat they pose, they are also an army that protected the nation. The ruler can't disband such any without getting criticized by his officials and the common people. What the ruler can do is find an excuse, like these are peaceful times, can't provide for such big army, need to develop the nation, so cut down on the army size. FL expected this much. She didn't expect villains to interfere and foil her plans, of course. And yes, Old Pei and Pei Junior have informed FL and her father of the happenings of the court, but everything had been decided already at this point. There's no point if they can predict the end result, because the end result had already been set in stone when they received the news.
And here I was thinking about that they would have their issues, but that they wouldn't go as far as breaking…
I think they only really break up once. Other times, it's only disagreements. That break up only lasts for 1 episode. Their disagreements also last for 1 or 2 episodes at most.
I dropped this at ep 36.The first 7 ep or so I was enjoying this immensely. The relationship between the ML and…
Your observation that FL didn't expect her Cui army getting disband isn't completely right, but it also isn't completely wrong.
When FL was making waves in the capital by putting up her betrothal to a prince in the mix, the Cui army was very much needed by the imperial family. She was, obviously, doing this to get ML see the bigger picture. What happens after everything is settled, everyone can see, including the FL. What she expected was, obviously, after everything is settled and the imperial family no longer has any use for the Cui army, they would attempt to cut down on the Cui army size. However, by the time this happens, she would have already been married to the ML (in her expectations), and would have some power of her own to keep the cutting down to a minimum. However, things happened that she did not see coming, the situation turned. But she again, at most, expected that the worst outcome of it would be the Cui army getting cut down and reduce in size. She also mentioned this in one of the episodes. And it makes sense. But the villains were at work, and she didn't know what was happening at the imperial court, since the ML blocked the news. Therefore, she obviously didn't see the outcome of Cui army getting disbanded. But she did see the outcome of Cui army getting cut down in size. If she knew the ins and outs of what was happening at the imperial family, and she would if she was not in the capital city getting "locked up" in her mansion, she would also foresee the ultimate outcome that has occurred.
I was just reading the novel this drama is based on;
Lol! Mei Zhuyu (ML) is actually 4 years younger than Wu Zhen (FL). FL is 26 years old, and unmarried, at the start of the novel. ML is 22 years old and unmarried.
I'm only on Chapter 2; the story is interesting and fun.
