We might not like the fact that Cui Lin took advantage of Li Ni's feelings and gains concessions by stealing from…
I don't think Li Ni is foolish. He is someone who is very emotional and cares about the relationships he is establishing. We see this from the very first episode -- The easiest route to win support and get the country in balance was offered to him; at the cost of his cousin's life. He declined. Also that old couple, he really cared enough to protect them, yet FL was still able to calculate at this time.
Li Ni was never foolish. He is clever enough, only a tad bit more emotional. And I'm sure this will be his first lesson. He will not easily believe FL from here onwards. We have seen it with Ep 14 teaser. This is character development 101, and I'm here for it.
when i writing this comment there are total 2019 comments then i suddenly recognize that covid - 19 is reason…
Lol, COVID brought me to Kdrama, which in turn introduced me to cdrama almost instantly. I watched Boys Over Flowers. I saw that it has Chinese adaptation, Meteor Garden with Dylan Wang, so I watched it. And that's my introduction to cdramas.
WeTV app 4 episodes uploaded, go on that.... 4 free episodes, 8 VIP....
I tried. Mkvdrama subs are taken from WeTV.
In WeTV, it is displaying Liang Wang as Lord Liang. It should be either Prince Liang or King Liang. The same is being displayed on mkvdrama. On Viki, finally, it is displayed as King Liang. I prefer they refer to him as Prince Liang, but I'll take King Liang over Lord Liang any day

I much prefer Viki subs. They give more clarity on the difficult to understand Chinese terms, or the inside jokes, etc. Whereas subs from WeTV or Iqiyi or Youku just brush them off without any explanation.
Also, in our country, we do not have the option to subscribe to WeTV VIP membership.
I've seen your profile You've already dropped so many great Chinese dramas, so you don't have to continue it anymore…
You can write your few lines, I'm not asking you to stop. I'm also writing my few lines of views on this practice of people wasting too much time and effort on writing negative thoughts about a drama they haven't watched fully. I just can't comprehend the thought process behind this, because I have never done this. If I don't like, and feel that I need to drop a drama, I'm doing it silently. Not because I want to avoid trouble, but because I don't want to think about that drama anymore.
I've seen your profile You've already dropped so many great Chinese dramas, so you don't have to continue it anymore…
Why do you need someone to agree with you if you clearly did not like the drama and want to move on. Why stick around and write things so that other people can agree with you and then waste time and effort on a drama you don't like and want to move on? If I don't like a drama, I'm simply dropping it and moving on. I won't even rate it, because I didn't watch it fully, so I am not qualified to rate the full drama based on that. I'll just see it as something that I have no fate with and move on. I don't want to come back and seek validation of my choice. Simply a waste of time, don't you agree?
Li Ni is the grandson of the emperor, who is now dead cause that general who is playing golf rebeled and almost…
Makes sense, real history prevails over fiction.
The situations in the mentioned novels are as follows:
1. Eight Treasures Trousseau The Emperor only has one son, borne by the Empress. He is named the Crown Prince. Inner palace schemes from the Empress ensured that the Emperor did not have another heir. The Crown Prince has no talent and is often overshadowed by his cousins (there are two, one of them is the ML of the novel), who are junwangs (Princes of the second rank. The Emperor's brother's sons would get these titles). He is also lustful and drinks a lot. His Crown Princess also schemed against him, making sure he would not have any heir, including with her as well. Not sure of her real intentions in doing so. But she gets pregnant, because the Emperor one day raped her when both were drunk. Since the Empress couldn't control her son's inner palace, the Crown Princess ended up getting pregnant with the Emperor's seed. The Crown Prince dies, schemed by one of his cousins (not ML, the other cousin). The Crown Princess is about to give birth to the "Crown Prince's heir", but the "Crown Prince's heir" will be in an awkward position once he is born. So the Emperor decided to write an edict to name the "Crown Prince's heir" as the heir to the throne. However, as soon as the "Crown Prince's heir" was born, thunders stuck in some important places. Some other places caught fires and all (schemes, of course, but well concealed). This made the Emperor feel that the heavens were against him for committing such great sin by getting his daughter-in-law pregnant with his own seed. So he decided to not name the "Crown Prince's heir" as the heir to the throne for now. Maybe in the future, but that future was never to come.
2. Jin Wang Dotes on His Concubine
This is simple. The Crown Prince already has a son who is in his teens. The Crown Prince, again, is very untalented. But his son is very clever and often makes up for his father's incompetence. The Emperor even often thought of passing the throne directly to this grandson of his. But the Crown Prince gets schemed on and loses his title as the crown prince. This puts the Crown Prince's heir in an awkward position again. I only read this novel up until this point... so not sure how it all turned out. But I do know that ML, Jin Wang (or Prince Jin, if you may), who is one of the Crown Prince's younger brothers, succeeds to the throne in the end.
I just rewatched episode 1 and noticed General Pei saying that the Crown Prince's son is only the eldest son. In that case, he was not even named the heir? And they talk about Consort Xiao, not the Crown Princess. So the surviving son of the Crown Prince is not even the legitimate son born to the Crown Princess? In that case, won't that put him in an even awkward position?
Well, anyway, we know from the trailer that Li Ni's father will take over the throne and will name Li Ni as his successor.
For those who want to watch it on YouTube like me. Wonderland of love is on you tube for those who want to watch…
I just saw. It's on YoYo channel. Subs are good, too.
Meanwhile, Viki still hasn't uploaded a single episode. They are uploading first two episodes tomorrow. So much for paying for the Viki pass subscription just to watch WOL, but they are this slow in uploading.

I think, from all the novels I read that are set in ancient China, if a crown prince dies before he is named emperor, then his heir cannot be considered an heir to the throne because he is not even considered an Imperial Prince, just an heir to the Crown Prince. Unless the previous Emperor wrote an edict naming the Crown Prince's heir to succeed the throne after him, the Crown Prince's heir's position would be considered super awkward. For this case, I will refer you to two novels:
1. Eight Treasures Trousseau. 2. Jin Wang Dotes on His Concubine.
If you ask me, Prince Liang has more legitimacy to the throne than the Crown Prince's heir, because he is, at least, an Imperial Prince, the late Emperor's son last living son.
I loved all OSTs from this drama, but what made me appreciate them even more was your translation of lyrics.
You have a new subscriber (actually, I already subscribed to your YouTube channel yesterday ).
Xu Kai is a good kisser, but some of the FLs he acted with were quite wooden in the kissing department.
When you have a ML and a FL who are both very good in kiss scenes, we can see the results.
Also that old couple, he really cared enough to protect them, yet FL was still able to calculate at this time.

I personally feel it's the best OST of this drama, even better than Liu Yuning's. Been listening to it on repeat. Love the translated lyrics too.

I really do love political schemes.
