I don't see how having less episodes could influence the drama being elevated or downgraded? Especially since all dramas should now follow 40 episodes limit in China. S and S+ grades are something, from what I understand, that represents the investors support of the drama they are investing in. The investors probably felt that this drama turned out to be better than they had anticipated and decided to invest more into post production and promotion. Nothing to do with episode count.

If you don't know how to use terms, go back to school, learn, and come back. Or better yet, stay there and don't fucking disgust us normal human beings.

I don't mind if they are replaying the whole scene again in the next episode (and I notice that, even if they do that in K-dramas, they do it with different pov or different ost and make it more interesting). I mind if the episodes are ending mid dialogue, which almost never happens in K-dramas.

Women go through literal hell from when they are pregnant to giving birth. A cousin of mine recently miscarried when she was in her fifth month. Not an hour later, my cousin also passed away due to complications in the miscarriage. So, you can take your opinion and bug off.

I understand that. But they can still make an effort to end an episode where it at least looks like it can be ended. They literally end the episodes mid dialogue in a scene and then the next episode, the whole scene plays out again.

On top of my mind, I can only remember two dramas that gave really good episode endings in Chinese dramas - One is Lovely Us. The other is Sweet Teeth.
I'm sure there are others (very few), but I can only think of these dramas at the moment.

Hmmm... aren't we talking about Chinese dramas here? Chinese dramas almost always end episodes in awkward spots, like in the middle of a scene.

Very few Chinese dramas managed to get their episodes end like K-dramas do.

Extending all 40 episodes by 5 minutes is also a lot, if you ask me.
And if they could manage to extend it by 10 minutes, then they won't have to cut any scenes.

I think they will promote this drama as much as they can. This drama was supposed to be S drama, but was changed to S+ drama later.

We can't say how this one will end. I heard that the author started publishing the novel chapters after the drama completed its shooting. Not sure if all the chapters are released yet. And it's also hard to search for the raw chapters.
However, going by this author's previous works, it could be a sad or open ending. Goodbye, My Princess was one was the dramas that were adapted from her novels. There's also people saying that the author was in a very good mood when writing the script for this drama, thus it could be a happy ending.

Yes, I just saw that. It's about Yeumi and Tian Qi. I originally thought The Last Immortals was about Yeumi and Tian Qi, since a lot of people talked about the novel covering their second lives when ALP was airing.

I just realized, the ML of The Last Immortals is Yuan Qi, Qing Mu/Bai Jue and Hou Chi/Shang Gu's son. So, I guess they have to use new actors for the main leads.

Ancient Love Poetry and The Last Immortal were made by the same production team. They are known to fastrack in post-production, and yet, manage to produce quality vfx. While they are fast, they are not fast enough to get the drama out this month or next month. I don't think The Last Immortal will be released this year.

By promo teaser, I meant the trailer. Where I'm from, these short trailers like the one ABAY released, we call them promo teasers. And the "promo teaser" SF6 released is just bts stuff.

That's exactly what Jin Jiu Ling's drama adaptation did. Make it seem like FL died in the fire, but it was her friend who died. Her friend's father, a doctor, saves her. Then he performs a plastic surgery on her to make her look like his daughter.

I understand your point. But if you look at it that way, almost every Chinese romance novel is mostly told in FL's pov, yet their drama adaptations are not labeled FL centric.
An example, Love You Seven Times is an adaptation of the novel, "Seven Unfortunate Lifetimes, All Thanks to a Single Moment of Impulse". This novel was basically written in FL's first person pov. If we say that because the novel is mostly told in FL's pov, then the drama adaptation should be FL centric, why was Love You Seven Times not labeled as FL centric? The novel it was based on was even written in FL's first person pov, unlike the third person pov in all of Qian Shan Cha Ke's novels.
