Explained at the start of ep 26, apparently she is using her demon powers too much and her body can't handle it…
I can hold out, yeah. 😅 I was able to hold myself when ALP was airing and I've been busy watching FIYS. I was reading all spoilers and really wanted to watch it, but held myself together. That's a real angsty drama.
I guess haters are out of fake accounts. Since last two days, there haven't been any big jumps on number of new…
And yeah, haters are crazy. I've been monitoring ratings this past week. On avg, whenever ratings are refreshed, you see 5-10 (at most 15) new users rating the drama. One time, I think it was early this week, there was a small jump in the ratings from 7.6 to 7.7. And voila, how many new users rated the drama the next time ratings refreshed? 50+!!! And we were back to 7.6. No one can convince me that that is not the work of the haters.
Thankfully that didn't happen since last two days.
Damn did the rating just jump to 7.9? Is this the rise we've all been waiting for?

First big downward spiral, and this was just a few hours before Xu Kai's scandal, about 200 new users have rated the drama, and the drama ratings dropped from 8 to 7.8. And some people call us crazy for blaming the haters.
Guys, if my math maths (given that they still follow two episodes per day format next week), we will probably get the express release on Tuesday. I'm thinking to hold off until the express release.
I don't like to wait between angst filled episodes.
For those who wish to compare recent costume dramas ratings on Douban:https://x.com/River19940423/status/1961332120325919083?t=X9z93FRK6xy5AZ8rqhVjEw&s=19
Mind you, Douban is actually actively fighting to minimize fake ratings. So the ratings are a lot more genuine than they are here on MDL.
Also, since this is a Chinese drama, their own audience are a lot more critical of their own dramas compared to us.
There's one thing Douban did well, but MDL failed to do: They are actually fighting the fake reviews.
7 and above is extremely rare for any drama on Douban, especially so if it is a costume drama. Getting a 6.6 is actually very good. It's like getting a 8.5-8.7 score on MDL if there are no haters.
It feels illegal to look at their honeymoon phase! Omooo omoooo HahahahaWhy did she even ask that question? Hhahaha…
Shouldn't have said they can't get all hot and bothered, my bad. Yeah, they do. Healthy men and women in that situation do get all hot and bothered. The point I was trying to make is that, they don't develop feelings or mistake it for attraction for each other.
Of course there have been co-stars who have dated, but I don't think the on-screen intimate scenes between them played any part in that.
Oh, I also edited my previous post to include a fun fact: Outlander was one of the first shows to have intimacy co-ordinators on set.

Of course, they could resort to creating more. Poor souls have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives.

Of course, until then, I'll just lurk around here for spoilers. 😅

6.6 on Douban is equal to a 8.5-8.7 on MDL.
