Viki's got some of the most immature fans ever. I never turn on comments on Viki for my mental health. I did try it once back in 2022 for a drama, didn't take long before I turned it off. I never looked back since then.
Man, it's frustrating. I had to put the drama on hold because I don't like to wait for episodes during the angsty period. But this is, unfortunately, the point where everyone's discussing the drama more and more, and people are joining the bandwagon of blaming either ML or FL. And it is frustrating that I cannot fully join this conversation because I'm not caught up, but I really want to make a few statements here, despite my limited knowledge (knowledge I am gathering from the comments section, I like to read spoilers).
1. Neither ML nor FL is to be blamed for trusting people whom they have known for years. I made this point yesterday, and I will be doing this again. Blame the ones whom they have trusted but have not lived up to their trust. They are the real evil here.
2. ML and FL do carry blame, but together, in that they did not communicate well enough, which put them in this situation. They carry equal blame in this.
3. I have made this point this morning, and I will be making this again. And I can't believe I have to say this again and again and again -- if anyone's blaming either ML or FL, they are blaming the characters, NOT THE ACTORS/ACTRESSES!!!!! Some people on Twitter are seeing the comments on here (MDL) and are interpreting them as people criticizing the actors/actresses, not the characters they are portraying. These people seriously need to see therapists. If any of these people (who are misinterpreting our comments) from Twitter/X are reading this post, I seriously appeal to you, kindly seek help. Most of us here on MDL can differentiate between actors/actresses and their characters. When we criticize/blame a character, we are criticizing/blaming the character, not the actor/actress playing the character. And since people here are so passionate that they are talking, blaming, criticizing, hating, loving these characters, it only means the actors are doing their job so damn well. If you see someone blame/criticize WZ, take it as a compliment to TXW's acting capabilities. If you see someone blame/criticize MZY, take it as a compliment to XK's acting capabilities. Don't take unfounded offense and make posts on Twitter/X and start unnecessary fanwars between the two artists' fans. This is very disheartening for me, a big fan of XK who also really likes and appreciates TXW.
I like WJT in You're My Lover Friend. I think that was the first time I saw him.
hahaha, I actually watched him in this other drama, which I loved. His chemistry with Lu Yuxiao was amazing in that drama. That's why I took note of him in YAMLF. Also, YAMLF is my comfort drama. I have probably rewatched it like 4-5 times, so it's hard for me to forget any character in that drama, especially WJT's character.

The uphill battle it took to get here, I'll never forget. The drama deserves to be above 8.5 at this point, but oh well...
